I went to my 10-year, 20-year, and 35-year reunions. I skipped the 25-year reunion and I don't think we had a 30-year reunion. I enjoyed the ones I went to, for the most part. The only annoying thing was that I politely asked everyone what they had done since I'd seen them last, listened attentively, and then was almost never given a chance to do my bragging!

To the best of my knowledge, and I still have family and good friends in the locality where I grew up, my high school class has never had a reunion. I have served on the committee for a number of college reunions and almost always attend them.

No, and there is a very simple reason why: Reunions are for you to come back as a success and rub it in at all of the people who hassled you over the years. Going back as a lowly file clerk is not going to impress anybody. Let me put it like this: When my old college called to update their alumni information on me, and asked me what I did for a living, I refused to tell them what I do for a living...that says it all right there.
