If
you were to buy a new computer, what would you buy?
PC w/DVD burner. As maxed out as possible for $2,000.
Alias
Irrelevante
I wouldn't
- too much hassle to transfer the data across I'd get some new bits for
this one though. An extra hard drive, and a big flatscreen monitor. Oh,
and a cordless keyboard.

My desktop
is fairly new and serves my needs well, so if I were going to buy a new
computer, and especially if money were no object, I'd go for a top-of-the-line
notebook, light enough to carry comfortably, but with a big enough screen
and ample power to support my software development activities. Wireless
internet connections, long battery life and all those goodies, of course.

Funny you
should ask. I do graphic arts and work on a MAC/Apple. I just bought a
PowerMac G5 1.8 Mhz, dual processor, 1 GIG of RAM along with the new Adobe
Creative Suite. It has PhotoShop, Illustrator, In- Design all souped up
to take advantage of the new Panther operating
system. It's a great computer!

I don't know....I
just bought a new Dell and I'm not too thrilled about it. Maybe HP. Yeah,
I SHOULD have bought a HP.
