How
long can you hold your breath? Once upon a time I could swim the length of a standard
swimming pool under water. These days I'm tired of holding my breath--and sitting on the
edge of my chair--so I don't.

Well, before I
started smoking and when I was in good shape (high school days), I could hold my breath
for quite awhile (a few minutes), now, I don't really know. I haven't tried to hold my
breath for any extended amount of time in quite some time... hold on, let me try... I
managed exactly one minute without much of a problem... give me another 30 seconds and I
would have passed out.

somewhere between 1 1/2 and 2 minutes, but I
can't think of why I would

A while.
Interesting question, since my husband and I were just swimming underwater at a hotel last
week on our honeymoon.

At last! A real thought-provoker...for the
pre-school set. The last time I discussed this question was when it was the main topic of
conversation in my KINDERGARTEN class. What's next? "Do you pick up all your toys
before going to bed?"

I just held it for 56 seconds. Haven't
thought about it for a long time, so if I practice, I could do better.

If someone you were close to died as
a result of this current war on terrorism, and you were
previously in avor of the war, would it have any effect on how you viewed/favored the war?
I am and will always be in favor of
eliminating terrorism. If my brother, friend, father, mother, sister, cousin...
whomever... died while fighting to rid the world of the people that were and are
responsible for attacks like 9/11, I would be proud of them and would only mourn their
loss for myself. I would not expect or want my country to mourn for my loss, but to
celebrate their life, their patriotism and their heroism.
