If
you did not have the religion that you have, what religion would you have?I don't even know what
religion I have at the moment! *grin* Probably some form of Paganism.

I don't
really know what my religion is right now, so I'm not sure what mine would be if I could
choose.

A religion should be a system of beliefs.
This means that the question kind of reads "What would you believe if you didn't
believe what you believe?" I don't understand the question.

I hate to be so unimaginative, but I
couldn't imagine not being Catholic.

My spiritual position is based on all that I
am. Obviously, if I were a different person I could have different beliefs. To describe
these beliefs, I would have to be other than I am.
Jill, 61

I am comfortable within any of the
mainstream Protestant denominations.

I grew up Catholic. If I could choose, it
would probably be a mixture of Zen Buddhist, Wiccan, and Transendentalist practices with a
smidge of Christianity. I sometimes wish I were Jewish.

Prior to my joining the LDS church, I
attended many churches, was disgusted with them all, and became an agnostic. I believe
that the LDS church is the true church and if I wasn't a member of it, I wouldn't be a
member of any.

As of the moment, I consider myself a deist.
However, if I were not a deist I would be a Zen Buddhist. (though neither of those are
true religions, really, more like belief systems. we'll disregard that.)

Well, my religion is my bag ...I strayed
away for several years, until I read a book by Will Durant (the history of Rome-From
Caeser to Christ, which brought me back) (as I mentioned in a previous answer, I am
reading a book about the history of the world's major religion...I respect other people's
religions, however, I cannot answer this question....it is interesting to learn about what
other religion's believe in, however, deciding to change religions is not like changing
shoes...

I wouldn't want to be any other religion. i
would want to be the religion I am right now.

Different religions interest me, I
guess because I know I don't belong to the one I am in.

I have an "all faith" religion. I
guess I'm just plain 'ol Christian. So, I can't really say what religion I would be
because I don't have a firm set of beliefs toward any particular religion.

If I did not have what sense of religion I
have now, I suppose I'd be an agnostic.

Do I have religion? I guess the major
religion with the closest thing to my belief system would be Buddhism, but there are
aspects of Buddhism I don't really agree with.

I think I'd have the same religion, but only
be more devout. Failing that, I'd be a digger, a wiccan, a zen buddhist, or a shaker.

I'm not really of a religion at present and
this is a tough question to answer. How do you say what you would believe it if you didn't
have the current beliefs that shape who you are? It would have to be something close to
wiccan or pagan. I believe in a higher power, I'm just not sure about all this judgement
stuff that some religions think they need. Hard question. Perhaps I just abstain.

Hmm. Probably Buddhist, or Hindi. I've done
alot of research on both, and if I wasnt Christian, I would be one of those.

Actually, I'm not religious at all. Not a
bit.

If I weren't Jewish, I'd certainly be
atheist. Religion is a bad excuse to do weird and or discriminatory things to others.
