Lowell, MA USA Soup kitchens. You can actually see the donations being put to use. I don't 100% trust many charity organizations. I have heard horror stories about some of them. One local organization (known nation-wide) was abusing donations to the hilt. I don't suppose this was a completely isolated incident. It makes you stop and think. At soup kitchens, needy people can be seen there - eating a much appreciated meal. Fisch, 45

Saylorsburg, PA USA I tend to support local efforts that either enrich youth and provide them with opportunities to grow and have options, foster the arts, or seek to change the world by increasing the chance for others to have a voice.
