Do you believe in bigfoot, aliens, the Lochness Monster, or anything supernatural?

No, not really. I'm superstitious, but that mostly has to do with little rituals and such, I don't really believe in the supernatural.

Nah... I don't think that stuff like that could exist unless a significant amount of people claim to have seen it.

I have an open mind on these topics.

Bigfoot: no. Aliens: yes. Loch Ness Monster: no. Anything supernatural: hmm. Angels no, psychics sometimes (not the cheesy ones), ummm...can't think of other supernatural stuff.

I don't believe in any of these things but I do believe that somewhere out there there is a french guy who knows that Jerry Lewis sucks.

I'm a real skeptic and seldom believe in anything unless I can see it. But after 20 years of being married to a "UFO nut", I do believe that we're no alone in the universe. There are so many millions of planets out there, it's very unlikely that we are the only ones around.

I believe that SOMETHING is there that lead to/inspired belief in these things. May not be exactly what people SAY they are, but there's SOMETHING there. I do believe there is extraterrestrial life -- the sheer size of the universe makes the odds that life exists elsewhere very good -- but I'm not sure I believe this life has VISITED us, as the odds of that are VERY slim. As for cryptozoology (Bigfoot, Nessie, other creatures on earth) who knows? Something indeed could be there -- if not Bigfoot per se, probably something.

In terms of aliens, certainly I believe in aliens. Like somebody once said, it is awfully arrogrant to believe that there are other intelligence beingsthroughout the galaxy.

I am sure they have their reasons for not making their presence known to us humans Maybey they are shy, maybey they like their world, and don't want us to disturb it, or maybe they are afraid what we would do to them if we found them. Aliens are cool, although I think Aliens would come in peace.

In terms of the Lochness Monster. Well, i was really mad at those people who proved it was a hoax. I did not want to know that. I mean, like Steinbeck said, "Men need sea monsters in the ocean of their lives."

I definitely believe in Sasquatch/bigfoot. At least, I think he existed at one time, although I don't know if he exists now. My belief in the supernatural can best be summed up by Fox Moulder: "I want to believe."

I believe in the possibility wholeheartedly and in the reality almost not at all. For every mystical, unexplained phenomena there is most likely a logical explanation. Even if we don't currently possess the mental faculties at the present time to figure it out.

Hah.... yeah right. I don't think anybody believes on those things!

I believe in lifeforms that aren't scientifically proven, be they aliens, ghosts, whatever. Just because some guy in alab coat hasn't pinned it down doesn't mean it isn't there. Think about all the stuff we have learned in the last 100 years, whose to say they won't discover the presence of life on another planet in 25 years?

I believe in things outside ourselves. I know that's cryptic, but I think it's the best you're going to get out of me [possibly because my real answer is "I don't know, I have no opinion", or possibly not].

I'm a snobbish traditionalist with a skeptical streak. I'd rather suspend my disbelief for dragons, gremlins, unicorns and the Little People.

I believe in aliens, but I don't think they are supernatural. They're just beings whose societies have achieved greater technologies. I believe in G-d, so I guess that counts for something supernatural.

Just as with all things religious, ill believe it when i see hard scientific evidence.

Actually, I beleive in all of it. I am also convinced that the moon-landing is a hoax and that there are no scientific facts, only theories.

I don't believe in big foot or anything of that nature...but I do belive in spirits. I probably wouldn't believe in them either except that I have had a few experiences with them.

Cathy, 26

No. The only "supernatural" things I believe in are ghosts and possibly angels, although I can't rule out intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.

Katie2, 18

Yeah, I think some of that stuff might be out there!

I believe that there are things that haven't been found yet such as bigfoot, the lochness monster and other. I do belive in aliens the most because how could WE be the only ones in this universe? Why would god only put one living thing out here in the space known as space? Makes ya think.

As much as I would like to, I find most of them a little far fetched. However, I have to admit the crop circles and UFO sightings get me going sometimes. I know they have found a few idiots who were caught in the act of making some of the crop circles, but hell...did these few blokes travel all over the world making all of them? My left brain doesn't want to accept any of it...my right brain loves the mystique. At times, it's a struggle.

there is so much i would like to say, but don't know where to begin. the  purpose of this project is to document what life is like in the early part of the 21st century. well, i guess i'll tell you what my life is like. you can say i'm happy for the most part. at least i try to be. i am living with a broken heart. it usually confines me from seeking out life's treasures and little joys. i am deathly afraid of falling in love or even getting too close with a friend. but i smile and laugh at the appropriate times and noone knows. i am in college but don't really want to be there. i go because that is what i was supposed to do. i can be flexible so i figured, hey, why not? i can sit through another 4 years of school with the best of them. i try to get the most out of life, as long as getting it doesn't require too much effort. i like my friends as long as they don't call me too often. i enjoy alone time. but friends are important. i think if my friend mike had a friend with him the night he went up to heaven he would not have killed himself. his death affected me to the very core of my being. it changed how i look at things. it made me forget, if only for a a couple days, how badly i ached from losing aleksandr, who i loved more than anything. aleksandr didn't die. he got married and now has 2 little boys. when i said before that i had a broken heart it is because of him. those 2 things changed how i look at life. and life is how you look at it. maybe i don't think too much of this world. but i can still laugh at it.

I don't believe in aliens, but there might be strange creatures lurking about earth;'s forests or oceans.
