Most of us, don't, until a movie comes ouit. besides history, amazingly, he knows alot more. That is the most amazing person! I have ever known.

Who is the most amazing person you have ever met? Well, this is an easy question: That would have to be my brother...who I like to Bill Gates....in terms of how successful he is...certainly in comparison too me. Certainly, he has got it going on. He is in a job that he is highly succesful in, has a place (with his wife), that I consider to be a mansion...he travels all across the globe for his company...he supervises people...what is  not to be amazed by? After all, like I told my cousin (when I thought I was going to vist), he already met the best of the younger generation of my family, so why would she want to see the rest?

The most amazing person would have to have been my psychology professor at college. There was nothing, no subject you could come up with, that  this man didn't know at least a little bit about. The best part is that he was humble about it. He was also a most excellent teacher!

I guess I didn't really meet him... I just know him.  He's my speech teacher and my Confirmation sponsor, and he is the most amazing guy I know just because of his wisdom and his faith... not necessarily only faith in God, but other things as well.

I guess that would have to be L.Tom Perry, one of the General Authorities of the L.D.S. church. My husband and I met Elder Perry briefly when we lived in Salt Lake City. We met him again over 5 years later and he remembered our names and things we had told him about ourselves. I thought that was pretty amazing considering I can't even remembeer what I had for breakfast.

My friend Oliver. He's an artist with a master's degree I think, but recently he decided to go back to school and get an engineering degree. He decided to do this while working on an organic farm in Iceland.

I don't know. It's hard to tell if someone's amazing when you only see them in mundane situations.

Alias Irrelevante

My husband.

Well, my wife is the most amazing person I've ever met. She's simply a beautiful person. The most amazing CELEBRITY I've ever met has to be Emmitt Smith. He was an incredibly nice guy, even asked me if I could play golf with his group (unfortunately, I was working at the golf course at the time and couldn't play). But, then he got really drunk out on the course and kind of ruined the view that I had of him.

Perhaps because I assume that most people have the potential to be interesting, the people who "amaze" me are the one's who aren't.

I can't think of one who stands out as most amazing. I have met quite a few whom I admire as very intelligent or accomplished in some way. And of course, no one could beat my kids and husband.

It's not an individual so much as a group of people... I'm on a steering committee that is working with an Ivy League university to put on a 3 day conference. The faculty from this university are so far beyond my experience of intelligent people. These people are deans of different schools within the university, have served in previous U.S. administrations, and are advisors on matters of national policy... The way they thought and processed ideas and information was completely different from anything I'd every experienced before. And they were completely human, charming, and friendly.

My Mother, without a doubt.

Tam

My grandpa, but he died last year.

My Mom. How she managed to raise 5 kids, she didn't work outside the home and she didn't drive a car to escape from us, and could still laugh at life is a miracle. We are all productive members of society and fairly stable people. I find that truly amazing.

I am sure I will think of something else in a minute, but the first person that popped in my head was a man named Richard Weintraub. He was one of my Hebrew school teachers and very wise person. He is also a psychologist and he had lots of insight on how to lead a truly happy and balanced life.
