Would you sell a kindey for $30,000,0000 ?

As long as the other one was healthy and that the one I was selling was going to be used for a good purpose...of course! But who's going to pay $30,000,000 for a kidney? That's a lot of money for an organ that the average person has two of!!

No, but I'd donate one to save a life.

I don't like the idea the folks can get body parts simply because they have the money to acquire them. I would gladly donate a kidney if needed. And if the person were a greedy, capitalist I would take the $30M and transform that cash into some worthwhile foundation.

I've no idea what a kindey is, so quite likely I would. Would I sell one of my kidneys, no!

NO I WOULD NOT SELL A KIDNEY FOR $30,000,000 BUT I WOULD GIVE ONE IF NEEDED. I WOULD GIVE BECAUSE IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY GOD AND THERE ARE MANY WHO ONLY HAVE ONE KIDNEY AND I KNOW YOU CAN LIVE WITH JUST ONE SO I WOULD NOT WORRY..

Sure thing. Why, you buyin'?

I'd sell just about anything for that much.

Of course! But can you live with only one kidney?

Kyle, 16

yes, and I would give it for free if it would save a person's life

I'm afraid my kidneys are not very good. I have had many kidney stones (7 rather large ones on one side and two on the other) that I have had liptripsy on. This is were they blast your kidney with sound waves to break the stones into smaller pieces, so you can pass them out through your urethra. A rather painful process. So donating my kidneys will not be happening in fact, I may be looking for a kidney in the future. But,if my kidneys were great and there wasn't a history of kidney disease in my family, I'd sell one. My mother lost a kidney due to kidney problems and lived with one kidney for over 20 years.

You bet I would! I'm broke.

No.

Chemotherapy has rendered all my organs useless for transplanting, otherwise that sum of money might tempt me. I would give a kidney to someone I liked.

In a heartbeat! (or is that liverbeat?)

Are we talking about my own kidney or someone else's? If it is someone else's kidney, with out a doubt. And I might be willing to give up one of my own for that price.

Ryan, 28

That's a lot of money, but I'd have to say no. My body is mine. It's worth more than that.

Triana, 29

well I have two of them, so yes i would sell one. it's just like donating one with a reward for your generousity.

Brad, 21

boy would I! even if it killed me, my family would benefit greatly as well as the person to whom the kidney was sold.

Are you kidding? For that much money, I'd sell a lot more than a kidney.

A-Dog, 19

yes

Of course.

Laney

No.

Talia, 25

No. But I'd give one away if a dear friend of loved one needed it.

Fisch, 47

For $30 million, I think they could have just about whatever they needed, as long as I could live without it. =) Is that petty?  Seriously, I would do it for free if I knew I could help someone. I'm looking into the Living Donor and Bone Marrow databases right now.

Nicci, 27

I don't think I have any kindeys.  But seriously, I think I probably need all my body parts.

Karen, 22

If I still had my other one, FOR SURE. You only need one, and that is enough money to have a very comfortable savings.

Eric, 20
Beverly Hills
, CA  USA

Uh, Hell yes. But only if I had the other one in the first place.

Stephanie, 25
TX  USA

Would you see a kidney? Oh, please, give it to somebody who needs it...sure? Sell it, how greedy do you think I am. I mean, if I was somebody else, and I know I was selling my kidney for that money, I would be beat the living crap out of myself.

Pluto, 30
Underworld

Assuming that is $30,000,000.00, you bet I would. But, then again, if it was for someone close to me, I would Give it to them. But if you offer me thirty million, I'll take it, and you take my kidney. Woo-hoo.

Lisa J., 23
TN  USA

No, only because one of my kidneys is double-walled and if I ever had to rely on the other one (the good one that I would have sold) I would be out of luck. However, if I were to get rid of a kidney I would donate it.
