If you could eat any meal right now, what would it be?

There was a pizza joint outside of Houston in the early 80's called Tiko's.  I miss that place. But, I would die to suddenly be in Warren, Ohio and at the Hot Dog Shop. I was educated on the concept of eating at that place. I'm going to cry now.

Breakfast.

I could eat at any time popcorn (popped with oil on the stove) and covered with tons of parmesan cheese. A sweet fuzzy soda like Coke or Orangina would be nice.

A generous chef salad built around locally harvested tomatoes instead of iceberg lettuce. I'd include tiny slivers of old fashioned country ham, sharp cheese, spicy summer sausage with bits of pickled cauliflower and some green peas and water chestnuts. I'd add a slice of crisp bacon, crumbled, green and red and banana pepper and blue cheese dressing.

Right now I'm not the least bit hungry.
However, my favorite meal is roast chicken with roast potatos,  stuffing and cranberry sauce. I don't care what vegetables are served with it

Right now I would like an elegant meal, perhaps an appetizer with hot mushrooms, red snapper in a light sauce, accompanied by new potatoes and asparagus, a spring salad, and a dessert involving fresh berries and custard sauce. All accompanied by a good Oregon pinot gris. But most of the time, I'm quite happy with "peasant" food, with lots of strong ethnic flavors.

I am a very worldly type of person when it comes to food. I love all kinds of food. But my absolute favorite is from a local Japanese steakhouse called Genji. They serve a dinner called "Shogun's Choice". It includes chicken, steak, shrimp, fried rice, zucchini, bean sprouts, and onions. They also serve you an oriental-type steak sauce, and something called "yum-yum" sauce. It's really good, but I can't seem to figure out what it's made of!!!

I just got done eating dinner so I'm not very hungry. I have to be hungry in order to think of what I want to eat. But what is on my mind is our up coming move to Georgia. It is becoming very stressful. My husband is looking for a job and I'm here in Virginia try to finalize everything. It is a rainy day and all I want to do is go to sleep instead of pack. Later,

There is this Thai dish that I make that is cauliflower and green beans or peas with a cocunut cream and peanut butter sauce on it.  Ohhh, it is soooo good! And so quick and easy! Guess what I am having for dinner tonight!!

Mmmm... doublestack with cheese from Wendy's, homemade macaroni and cheese, and a chocolate glace from Copelands.  Mmm... hungry.

I want some of those Chinese-style chicken drumsticks that you always see at discount prices at this time of year. They're gorgeous, thinking about them makes my mouth water.

A bowl of really fresh fruit, watermelon, strawberries and kiwi maybe some starfruit. Followed by a great soup - minestrone for sure. The main course would be a pasta of some kind with any sauce but alfredo. For dessert - a wonderful slice of cheesecake. Of course I would have either a nice red wine or a really good ale along with.
