What is on your nightstand?

A little pin tray with nail clipper and other manicure equipment; a reading lamp; a bottle of baby lotion with a high vitamin E content; an athlete's foot spray for treating a fungus on the dog's tale and an alarm clock.

My nightstand is often referred to by visitors as "the floor". With that in consideration, I have clothes, books, and CDs on it.

I don't really have a nightstand, but I keep what I need by me on my bed. It's usually a book I'm reading, a notepad to write on, a few pens...kleenex and my alarm clock. Everything else is on my bureau.

What is IN it is a better question, but I'll answer this one...a small light, my reading glasses, and my alarm clock.

I don't even have a nightstand... it's a typical teenage room- unmade bed,  messy desk, no order at all.

Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch,
CO

It is a mess of jewelry, earrings, necklaces, hair clips and a hair brush. I also have a stack of magazines to read, Smithsonian, Time and Quilter's Neewsletter. There's a bottle of water for me to drink out of and a cup of water for my cat Binky to drink out of at night. I gave up drinking out of a cup when I discovered my cat was drinking from my glass of water at night while I was asleep. So now we each have our own.
