Where does most of the pollution in the air you breath come from?

Portland is relatively free of pollution, but I expect most of it comes from traffic.

Usually a high starchy carbohydrate concentration of the last meal I ate.

I live in the Poconos, a sparsely populated area--although the population of the county has nearly doubled in the last 20 years. The air I breath is relatively pure. There is a bit of dust sometimes in the summer and the fog in the transitional seasons reeks of wood smoke. We do have a problem with acid rain because of the pollutants blown in from industrial areas in the midwest.

I have no idea! I lived in London for a semester in college. The pollution there is really bad. I started noticing that sometimes I had black snot in my nose. I was completely convinced that I was dying of some disease! (I tend to be a hypochondriac!) I was so relieved when I found out it was from the pollution!

Most of the pollution in my environment comes from motor vehicles. Although my husband and dogs can really contribute to poor air quality in the house when they eat junk.

To my knowledge it's mainly cars and factories.

MY cigarettes. The rest of my pollution comes from the fact that I live on the flush end of the Mississippi, where the water is said to have been drank by six people before it comes out of my tap.

I live in a town that has a Georgia Pacific Chlorine Plant in it. We have had an air raid type siren that goes off once a month to keep us prepared for a massive chlorine leak. Most of our air pollution as well as other types of pollution are due to GP being in our town. It is apparently slowly
