Would (or do) you get your pet's teeth cleaned?

I have a pet toothbrush and chicken flavored toothpaste, but getting my two dogs to hold still and tolerate getting their teeth brushed is another story. I'm going to be taking my Greyhound to the vet to get his teeth cleaned because the tartar is really building up.

Tam

No. My vet has stopped asking me to get my dogs' teeth cleaned.

No. I don't have any pets. I am turtle-sitting and ferret-sitting, and I don't think they get their teeth cleaned.

I don't even get my teeth cleaned.

Probably. When my last cat last got her teeth cleaned, a hallucinogen was involved. My mom couldn't stand to see her hallucinating, so after that she didn't get her teeth cleaned anymore. But I think they have better drugs now, so I will probably take my cat to have her teeth cleaned if the vet mentions it. My frogs, on the other hand, have no teeth, so it's not really necessary.

If you feed them the right food it isn't necessary.
