Starry Night. Second
to that is a seashell my daughter painted in one of her art classes this
past year...it's just beautiful!

My favorite piece
is "Starry Night" by Van Gogh. It's just this small town in
the middle the universe. The sky makes me think more of saucers or outer
life than stars.

I don't have a
favorite piece of artwork really. I tend to like contempory art, new media
and video art. Right now I'm into really slow, contemplative works. Things
that require you to pay attention
or may not have an obvious point.

Starry Night by
Vincent Van Gogh. I had the opportunity to see the painting in real life
at theMOMA in NYC. It made me cry. The idea that I could see this work
of art, be so close to it, was overwhelming.

It's hard to say.
"Piece of artwork" encompasses so much. I love one of my photographs
of a raven. I love Stewart Moskowitz's "Neon Jazz Fish." There's
a picture I love by Gene Hamilton--it's David in the Old West. Monet's
"Starry Night" is pretty. Etc., etc. There are tons more paintings
and drawings and photographs that I love, and then there are other types
of art. . .sculptures and all.

In the world? Probably
one of the 17th century Dutch paintings that captured light so superbly;
no one since has equaled that achievement. In my own collection? A landscape,
in the style of, though unfortunately not by, Constable, which belonged
to my great-great-grandparents.
