If you had an opportunity (free of charge) to board the space shuttle for a future mission, would you go?

It would be tempting, but I think I'd prefer to stay on the Earth.

Keri-Jade, 23
Brampton, Ontario CANADA

No. NASA has done enough research on space sickness.

Jill, 61
Saylorsburg, PA USA

Nooooo. I want my tootsies planted firmly on the earth thank you. But I'd love to know someone else who would do it so they could tell me all about it! :)

Fisch, 47
Preston, CT USA

No, but I think I would see whether I could give the opportunity to my brother, who wanted to be an astronaut growing up. I think being in space would make me lose my lunch of astronaut ice cream.

Karen, 23
Ames, IA USA

Not for a million dollars. I'll see the stars from here.

Judy, 62
Easton, KS USA

You betcha. When I was little, I'd sit and look at the stars and wonder what it was like up there. The chances of anything going wrong are slim so I'd take my chances and live the dream.

Doug2, 30
Kansas City, KS USA

Sure why not. Would be an experience.

Ryan, 29
Riedlingen GERMANY

Probably not. It's never really appealed to me.

Aly, 17
Cardiff UK

Definitely. I support the space program because we get so many spin-off benefits from the research done for it. If I could go into space myself, that would be great!

Cathie, 53
Novi, MI USA

No. I think that my fear would be so overwhelming that I would not enjoy the flight.

Cindy, 41
VA USA

Most definitely, but I doubt my body could withstand the strain.

Felicia, 37
Lowell, MA USA

I've always been really curious about what's out in space. I think if I could go, I'd rather it be a short trip.

A-Dog, 20
Eugene, OR USA

I don't know. It's tempting, but frightening.

Jane, 63
West Linn, OR USA

I love to gaze at the moon and stars and I'm afraid that if I rode the space shuttle and saw them up close, part of the 'magic' would be gone, so no, I wouldn't want to ride the space shuttle.

Reba, 57
Gaithersburg, MD USA

I'm thinking no. Just a little too scary and there's no good reason to go. Besides, I like Earth. :)

Cristin, 25
Frisco, TX USA

No freakin' way. Way too claustrophobic for me.

Laura, 38
Lowell, MA USA

Definately!!!

Tam

Sure.

Alias Irrelevante

I have no desire to go into space. I don't even want to get into an airplane, let alone a space shuttle. Fear of FLying.

Janet, 45
E. Brunswick, NJ USA

Geez No! I get motion sick on a kids ride!
