What is something new you are involved in?
I have just begun
(three weeks ago) a couple of lifestyle changes. I'm preparing to quit
smoking (ie: setting my goals, my quit date, and getting my body ready
for the changes it will endure through withdrawal), plus I have started
eating a strictly reduced-fat diet, started cooking all new ways and incorporating
all new foods, and have started to walk every night, faithfully, about
a
half hour after dinner. I have to start out slowly and only do about a
half mile a day right now, but I'm very proud of this ... I was quite
sedentary in the recent past, except for going to and from work. Lots
of changes. Feels great and I've dumped three nasty pounds and an entire
pack of smokes per day so far. Wish me luck!

Well, right now
I'm involved in trying to get my own company off the ground. Daunting!

Nothing much new
in my life to be involved in. I guess the closest to "new" that
I have is my job, which I started right after Christmas. Not much for
excitement, but that's ok.

I've just joined
the Roleplaying and Gaming Soc at uni. That's something new not just to
me, but to everyone - there are about 5 of us so far! Pittyful - I hope
we can collect some more freshers in september!

I have a new contract
for a database application, starting this week. Nobody has told me what
the project is, only that they want me to do it.

My company is having
a remote-control car road rally. I was asked to join the team of last
year's winning car as Marketing Director. (We also have a Penniless Sponsor,
an Image Consultant, a Roady, a Legal Advisor, and a Chief Mechanic.)
We've already had one meeting where we picked team colors (black and red)
and a team name (Team Lightning). I'm working on a logo, a poster, and
pit passes. Other people are checking into hats and possibly T-shirts.
We're all putting biographies together for the newsletter, and we're already
talking trash with an opposing team from the other side of the office.

Um. . .I'm not
sure I can think of anything brand-new. There's some relatively new stuff.
. .I guess this last weekend was the first time I helped somebody prepare
for a car show.

One of my co-workers
is a salesperson for an organization that sells scrapbooking supplies
and because of her, many of the people I work with have gotten into this
hobby. I held out for quite
awhile but finally succumbed.

Well I just quit
my job. I quit smoking too. So there's two old things I'm no longer involved
in.

I've only been
at my job for eight months and something new I am involved in is writing
the preliminary pages for the local telephone directory as well as designing
the cover for the telephone book. Sounds kinda small-time, but the directory
goes to about 120,000 homes in six counties. Pretty good circulation,
I'd say.
