What
do YOU think was the worst moment in rock 'n' roll history?I mostly listen to
country music now, but when I was young I listened to r'n'r and (here I'm showing my age)
I thought it was a real tragedy when Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year-old cousin. I
didn't see anything wrong with it but apparently a lot of people did because the up and
coming Jerry Lee Lewis' career went down the toilet after that.

This is a lot like a VH1 list of the 100
most shocking moments of rock. In that spirit, here is my top 5 list.
1. John Lennon gets shot
2. Kurt Cobian commits suicide
3. Jerry Lee Lewis shacks up with his cousin
4. Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off a dove (what a dumba..). Although I do live Black
Sabbath, and Ozzy, I like animals a whole lot more, and I would not object to seeing Chris
Benoit slap the crippler Crossface on him...to teach him not to be such a jacka..)
5. Woodstock 99. Rioting over the high price for water. Well, of course you are going to
get ripped off at a concert, everybody knows that.

It's not something I think about
much, but probably John Lennon's death.

I think the worst thing in rock n roll
history was Elvis Presley's death and then finding he had used prescription drugs. There
were other deaths that were bad for rock n roll like Jim Croce he was so young and just
getting started in his profession. I also think the drug scene has gotten bad with some of
the 80's rock n roll and todays rock n roll.

When the Stones tried to go disco. What was
that?

I occasionally find myself humming early
bits of Rock and Roll, but R&R isn't a subject I think about.

When the Rolling Stones went back on
tour last year. Message to Mick Jagger: It's time to
retire gracefully!

When VH1 decided to air NOTHING but
count-down shows...and/or the invention of the power ballad.

I don't think there can be a
"worst" moment in Rock & Roll History. All aspects of this history add
to the individuality that is called Rock and Roll whether it be negative or positive.

The birth of Simon & Garfunkel? The
death of the Beatles? The moment little kids started imitating the Spice Girls and Britney
Spears? I dunno.

I'm personally a fan of face-to-face

I don't really know what to say to answer
this question, because I wasn't really a fan of that sort of music, but I will say that I
don't know what the worst moment is, but if I had to say one thing I would probably say is
the day that John Lennon died. I wasn't around then, as Im only a 20 year old guy from
Sydney Australia, but I must say that it probably had the biggest impact on rock 'n' roll
history.

The day that Fred Durst/Jonathan
Davis/Coby Dick/The frontman of any popular nu-metal band you can think of was born, or at
least the day that any of them decided it'd be a good
idea to form a band and attempt to write a song. The day Oystein Aarseth from Emperor was
killed is quite monumental, as is the day that Guns N Roses split up. Still brings a tear
to my eye today...
