Is there any habit you have tried to develop but for some reason, you just can't?

I have tried and tried to get into a habit of walking regulalry again, and I haven't been able to - it was easier to carve out that kind of time when I was not married.

I've tried to develop the habit of exercising every day. During Lent, I walked on my treadmill almost every day but that fizzled out after Easter.

A habit? Getting up earlier, eating better, exercising more.

Better eating habits, regular exercise, better time management.

I find it much more difficult to replace poor habits with good ones than to establish a brand-new, good habit.

Yes, I've been wanting to get into the habit again of getting up at 5:30 to go running, but just cannot drag my tired butt out of bed to do it anymore! I'm getting old!

Ha--I have enough trouble getting rid of the habits I have. Why would I take on more? I guess tolerating food I don't like is a habit it would be good to develop. It's embarrassing to be picky.

There are several habits I've tried to develop over the years; growing my nails longer (they get to a certain length and I just feel like they're annoying, then regret cutting them again cause they looked nice) ~ making my bed every morning (can't seem to incorporate this into my morning routine for some reason) ~ and adding to my book every day (I've finally resigned myself to the fact that I'm simply an inconsistent writer ~ for this reason I truly admire newspaper and magazine columnists ~ maybe it's the fact that they have deadlines...

I tried to start smoking then realize it was gross and didn't even try. (that's all I could think of)
