What kind of snack foods do you have in your house right now?

My husband and I are trying to keep away from junk food, but we do have plenty to snack on. I make trail mix that has nuts, raisins, cereal and some kind of chocolate piece in it. We have raisins, yogurt, apples, peaches, bananas, fruit bars, pretzels and sugar free ice cream.
My husband is much better about eating snacks that are good for him. I tend to forage on the wild sugary side.

There's loads of fresh veg from the garden at the moment, which I tend to snack on at this time of year. My mother bought some cheries yesterday too - I doubt they'll be around for long. Other than that there's 2 big bags of crisps and some dips we bought for eating in front of the telly yesterday, but never ate. And a few packs of bread sticks and things left over from our party a few weeks ago. That's about it I think.

I think we're out of them at the moment. Usually we have candy bars and bite-size candies based on candy bars.

I asked this question because my son has been accusing me of being abnormal. The only foods I keep in my house to snack on are fruits and veggies. On occasion, I'll bring home a bag of pretzels or Dorritos. The reasoning behind this is: I know myself too well. If I had snack foods, I'd have absolutely no willpower what so ever and I'd probably eat the whole bag in one
day. (And actually, I HAVE done that before!) My son has been whining..."all my friend's
mom's have such and such"..."when I go over to Billy's house his mom gives me chocolate chip cookies"..."I saw a bag of potato chips at Gramma's house"...blah, blah, blah. Right now, the foods I have in my house to snack on are: pears, nectarines, peaches, cherries, apples, oranges, carrot
sticks, fresh broccoli, cauliflower and cucumbers...(of course I supply the child with fat-free
ranch dressing to dip his veggies in!) I'd be interested in hearing what other 2000 day participants keep in their houses, especially you guys with kids!
