Has your house / apartment ever been broken into?
Not by humans.
The occasional critter and some flood waters maybe but that's about it.

Someone broke into
an apt we were in the process of moving out of once and stole our big
ole half full piggy bank and the fantasy football money stash. Nothing
big, but it did smart a little.

When I was a teenager,
our home was broken into. Mostly jewelry was stolen.

Nearly twenty years
ago several family antiques vanished from the attic of the house. Unfortunately,
I'm fairly certain a family member was responsible.

I don't think so.
I don't remember my house ever being broken into, but there's a house
across the road which has been burgled several times in the past few years.

I don't think anyone
would want to break in here and face a 165 lb. Rottweiler. He's the best
security system, even though he's very friendly. We've never had a break-in,
but some of our relatives have.

Ohhhh yes. My apartment
was ransacked when I lived in New Jersey back in the 70s; a most horrible
thing to come home to. Part of me has never quite gotten over it. Ironically,
I didn't even have a whole lot to steal, maybe that's why they were so
destructive but they really tore the place apart ~ broken record albums,
photo frames, etc. It was quite traumatic for me. The most
painful part about it was that they stole a small coin collection my dad
had given me through the years when I was a little girl. All silver dollars.
The coins meant nothing to them and it was traced and discovered that
they spent it at a local bar the same night. I could still cry just thinking
about that.

Not this one. When
I lived in a Florida condo, someone, in the middle of the night, broke
my kitchen window and reached in and stole my handbag. I woke in the morning
to a floor covered in shattered glass.
