When I was very young - and my sister was younger but bigger - she almost drown me by pushing me under waves and sitting on me. She did not understand the possible consequences (she was only 3), but it really frightened me (of course). Anyway - I am somewhat hydrophobic. I would love to cave dive - it looks really amazing - but I could never do it - I would panic in seconds.

I'm not sure if cave diving is parachuting into large cavernous holes or scuba diving into underwater dens. Both could be dangerous if not approached correctly, but no more so than countless other physicall risks taken.

I can't even think about caves without feeling claustrophobic. I routinely skip the articles about caves in National Geographic because I get short of breath and uneasy. Other people may enjoy caving, but for me I would go stark raving mad in a cave.
