Would you be
willing to live in the "Big Brother" house? No way in hell. But
you never know, maybe all of us already do. Technology's come a longer way than they'll
ever let you know. Marijuana never made people paranoid until the St. Louis Arch was
constructed.
Alias Irrelevante
No, and I can't understand why people would
want to watch someone else's life instead of living their own.
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ
No, I have no desire to live like that.
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL
I don't think so. If I could pick
the people that I was living with I might, but those
people are really boring. Can't they think of anything better to do than
"snuggle"? What a drag. I do watch it though, with passive voyeuristic intrigue.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA
Maybe...I would have to put a lot of thought
into it!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
No way! I value in my privacy and I am
claustrophobic. Living in the Survival universe would be pretty cool.
Ernest, 29
Washington, DC
Definitely not. I would miss my family and
outside friends after a while. I would be tired of seeing the same nine people every day
but I wouldn't be able to get a break from them and have some time to myself because of
the cameras everywhere. I'm an only child and I love the quietness and privacy of my house
more than anything, and in that house I doubt there's any quiet time when you can just be
by yourself.

I think this is a horrible question
that strays from the vision of the 2000days site. In
years to come, this Big Brother site/show/whatever will fade, and people reading back may
not get anything from this question and its responses. One of things I admire about the
2000days site and its discussions is that the topics seem to strive for timelessness and
relevancy. This question does no such thing in my opinion.
Jesse, 24
Bowie, MD
No for the sheer fact that they couldn't
bring many books with them. What the hell am I to do for TWO MONTHS with only one or two
books? And no email??? Blah ;) Although I could handle the 1900 House, the PBS live
like the Victorians thing. I would adore that. Email's not THAT important...(By the way
2000days contributors... I passed my thesis :) Just wanted to share my good fortune)
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA
for sure! and i'd probably be just
like Will Mega and cause tons of unneccessary problems just to make the show interesting.
and I'd beat the hell out of that bitch Jordan.
Angela, 16
SC
No.
Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
No.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
Probably not. I do find it
interesting the continual fascination with voyeuristic entertainments of this sort. I
wonder if we are so disconnected with each other that we are propelled toward them.
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
Since I know absolutely nothing
about the show except that it's one of those
reality things, I probably shouldn't say. I kind of doubt it. A lot of shows purposely get
psychos to watch them wreak havoc.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
No way, I value my privacy way too much.
Nicole
Elk Grove, CA
Maybe. I think I might go crazy if I had to
live with some of the people that are there now
Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch, CO
Certainly not!
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
Absolutely ! It would be a great experience.
I would definitely miss my wife Pamela, IMMENSELY, however, I think it would be something
that would be remembered forever. The money wouldn't be bad either. :-)
Kevin, 33
Sugar Hill, GA
No. Absolutely not. Forced interaction and
public attention are not on my list of 'fun' things.
Firelady, 22
Dallas, TX
I have the distinct feeling that I would
have been long since kicked out. They would have kicked me out of the short-bus they
rode there in.
PS- I wanted to make a statement about this
whole reality-entertainment "phenomena," but I had trouble fitting it all into
English. So let this be said: we are a sick mickeyfickey species and unless we get off of
this planet we are just going to have another big war so that we can utilize some
brain-cells again. Everytime I hear people talk about their fascinations with these shows
I feel like a school janitor who peeks into a special ed class. "Well, at least my
life isn't THAT bad."
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
Oh yeah. . . sounds like a crazy fun
time, to see how much I could take the pressure, sorta check out just how strong I am,
take my chances on being a complete desperate idiot
media whore for a little while. . . compete to see if the producers and creative people
found me and my look and my story compelling enough to sell on a crazy stupid
sur-"Reality show" like this. . . Oh yeah. . .give me Tiffany in the love bed
doing snugglies anytime. . .
mothmc, 35
Los Angeles, LA
No, why
would anyone want to unless they are seriously craving attention - LOTS of attention?
Megan, 24
Chicago, IL
I'm sorry. Haven't read the book, so I can't
comment.
Socrates One
Lowell, MA
absolutely no way
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
I don't think so. I'd be so disappointed if
I got evicted. I don't watch the show that much anyway.
Shanna,15
Cardiff ENGLAND
No, and I can't understand why people would
