Where do you
stand on aliens?I don't stand on aliens! I wouldn't hurt their feelings in
any way, let alone their physical manifestations. Of course, I stand adamantly against
Rosewell and other focal points for damn fools. As has been pointed out many times, alien
abductions are the 20th/21st century equivalent of spending a
night/week/month/year/sevenyears/lifetimes in a fairy mound. I have sympathy for the
abductees, but mine is a very abstract sympathy. I don't want to talk to them and I'd
really rather not listen to them. Of course, I've been an avid science fiction
reader for 50 years and I'm in favor of greeting interstellar visitors with courtesy,
curiosity and

I don't know and I don't really care
all that much either.

I have to say that honestly I don't know. I
think if they're there -- great I don't care if they're bad or good or anything like that.
It would be nice to know that we aren't the only ones out there. But until I see some
hardcore evidence with my own eyes, then I can't really have an opinion on

Well, I'm hoping they don't exist, even
thought I know they probably do. And I really hope they don't abduct people. Cancel that
-- correction: I hope they don't abduct ME!

There's something/someone out there, but
exactly what I don't know...we may never know!
Tracy, 24

I don't know. There's probably some kind of
life form somewhere. I don't believe people who swear they've seen a UFO. I think they're
all on drugs!

. . . uh. . like the kind from outer space?
I don't believe in em. . not even a little. .

Mankind is so vain to consider we
are the only life form with "intellegence" in
the universe. I also think we are vain to assume all life forms are carbon based, or need
water or light to exist. I think mankind is arrogant to propose aliens have two eyes a
nose and a mouth or have four extremities, reproduce or have male or only female parts. I
also think mankind is vain to assume we understand all emotions or comprehend all
possibilities, limits, colors, thoughts or dimesions. Mankind is not alone, just to vain

For them, if they are friendly, but against
aggressors.

I had a roommate once who was a "child
of the golden light". She believed that the world would end in 1995 and California
would be the first to go. She was very distraught that when the aliens picked her up she
could only bring along two suitcases. She made sure that it was understood which ship we
should look for and to be aware of the bad aliens. Aparently, according to her doctrine,
we all understood the world would end in our lifetime and had agreed to live with the
aliens before we were even born. Another friend's father was levitated in his own back
yard in his underwear. Yet another, frozen, pulled from the inside out, in the
middle of a taco bell, having ordered his food from a nonexistant employee...I believe
that it is arrogant to believe we are the only lifeforms in the universe. I like to
believe that there is something larger out there, something I can't necessarily
understand.

Well, I've never seen one, but I bet you
would stand on an alien on Mars. But why would you want to stand on top of an alien?

On thier neck. I tell you, theres no better
way of getting an alien to give you information about the coming invasion and planned
annihilation of our species. Damn aliens.

I wonder how many people will respond with
"between the ribs and knees." I have no reason to believe in them yet or that
the possibility of their existence is in anyway relevant to my life.
Alias Irrelevante
Not to answer in a flip manner. I entertain
the possibility that they exist despite the fact that there is not proof that they do.

I stand on their heads.

I don't believe in the aliens with large
black eyes, nor do I believe in the abduction stories that are so popular these days. But
I believe it's the height of ignorance to think that we are the only intelligent lifeforms
in the Universe.

My philosophy on aliens can best be summed
up by Mulder on the X-files: I want to believe.

Nowhere, unless they're mean to me. If
they're mean to me I stand on their heads.

They HAVE to be out there. There is
too much space for us to be the only ones. But, visits and flybys, they probably happen
but not as often as claimed
Kathy, 26

Definitely
on their necks, until they snap. Do not stand on their eyeballs, because they could shoot
laser beams through your feet. No, really, if I got to live in an age where our race made
contact with other-worlders, I would feel amazed and truly blessed.
