How many pickup
trucks would it take to haul all your stuff?Probably 3 or 4. I have more stuff
than I'd like to admit to, I'm a huge packrat.
Nicole
Elk Grove, CA
I've done it in four trips, but if I were to
move cross country I could leave most of my stuff behind and get the important stuff in
one trip.
Alias Irrelevante
Oh man. 1.5 Uhaul moving vans.......20
pickups?

One regular sized van (1.5 pickup trucks)
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
Since i just moved, I know that it
would only take one and a half
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA
Well, since I am married it is really the
"stuff" of 2 people. I would say 2 or 3 trucks. After having moved across the
country a few times, I would prefer, at this point, to hire some one else to do the
hauling.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA
I 'm not accustomed to thinking in pick-up
truck sizes, but my worldly goods and chattels would fit in the second-smallest U-haul
trailer with room to spare. House plants would have to travel separately.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
I moved six months ago with a pick up and a
small covered trailer. So, I would say probably 6 to 8 loads in just a pick up bed.
Not too bad.
Kathy, 26
Garden City, MI
Hmmm. I don't know, but it would
suck if you're stuff flew out the back while on
the highway. Wouldn't a mini-van be more effective? I think my stuff could all fit into
one mini van -- that is, if the back seats were removed.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
I'd say 10 to 15.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
I don't know, maybe 5. No, probably
10. It's hard to tell since I usually use a little bigger truck than that when I move! I
have a lot of furniture, but not a lot of "stuff".
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL
About two. I don't really own a lot of
stuff, but I do own a lot of clothes.
Angela, 16
SC
Only one ;-)
Aurora, 17
Montreal, Quebec CANADA
Probably at least a dozen. It half
fills a good-sized moving van. One does accumulate
things over the years
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
Haven't measures in pickups. Discounting
furniture, all of which has been left behind by other people I have helped move, I can fit
everything into one medium sized sedan. And a second trip for the computer.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
one, maybe half of one. .
mothmc, 35
Los Angeles, LA
One pickup truck, and some boxes,
which could all fit in a small car (Mostly filled with
books).

Lowell, MA
Two. 3/4 of a Uhaul did it too.
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA
A lot, if I took everything. I mean,
I have two beds and three chairs to my name, on top of
all my lifetime collection of stuff. But if I were just going to pontaneously take off,
I'd probably take one tote bag. If I were to have a couple days' notice, I'd probably take
a tote bag and a suitcase.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
Good Question, I suppose 5 neatly loaded
pick up trucks or 3 big six-wheelers.
Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
5-7 full-size pickup trucks...that's what my
man says, but I think it might take more than that. I only live in a tiny two bedroom
place, but I have LOTS of stuff!!!
