If you could only
keep one piece of jewelry what would it be?I'm not much on jewelry, but i do
have a small watch I hang on my belt or keychain. I'd keep that.

I have several things that have been handed
down to me that would break my heart to give up. Some from my family and one from Kevin's.
All are beautiful, some are rare and most are very valuable. Nothing in my future could
give me reason to part with my engagement ring.

So easy. The pocketwatch I gave my
grandfather when I got back from Russia. It was the only momento I wanted of him
after his death.

Hmmm....none of my jewelry holds
much sentimental value. I would save three precious stones given to me by an old love.
They don't currently reside in jewelry form but may some day do so.

My engagemnet ring.

I'd like to say some family heirloom or
something, but the fact is that I would be absolutely naked without the ring I made at
camp. I wear it every day because I like it and because it reminds me that I can do
fantastic stuff I'd probably never guess.

I do not have a deep sentimental attachment
to any of my jewelry. Now books.... I'm possessive about books.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
I would have to say the bracelet
that my 93 year old kind of grandma Thelma gave me for a gift. It is all twisted in 3
different colors of metal. Even though I don't wear it often, I think about her every time
that I see it. She says that it is really old and it
links me to the past.

Jeez, that's tough. It's a toss up between
my wedding ring or my mother's wedding ring. I suppose given the option of deciding where
my other jewelry goes, I'd keep my wedding ring and give my mother's wedding ring to a
relative.
And before you all get start jumping to
conclusions about my flip attitude... the wedding ring I'm wearing is not my original one.
My husband and I replaced our rings about 6 years ago.

Definitely my engagement ring.

The necklace my mama gave me when I was 15.
A gold chain with a gold pouch pendant. I always thought of it as my little bag of gold
from under the rainbow. Lucky n stuff.

That is kind of toss up.... I have a couple
pieces that mean the world to me. I guess the most important one is a silver necklace with
a horsehead in a horseshoe charm on it. My mother bought the charm on a weekend getaway to
Lexington Kentucky that we took because she knows how much I like horses. I did not know
that she had bought it and on my 18th birthday, she gave it to me on the chain. I wear
that necklace every day.

I dont' really have any good jewelry to
speak of (except a pair of pearl earrings). But the one with the most sentimental value is
a silver necklace with a butterfly on it that my boyfriend gave me for my birthday this
year. I have mentioned before that I always wear while he is at work so that he will come
home to me.
Kathy, 26

My gorgeous engagement ring. I love
it to death. It has 3 diamonds in a row...it looks exactly like the De Beers commercial -
the one where the husband sets up their wedding footage in a movie theatre for an
anniversery present for his wife. My ring looks exacly like that one, but set in platinum.
It was supposed to be a unique style when I got engaged, but now I see similar rings
everywhere which bums me out.

I have a ring in my lip which I got to cover
a scar I have from when I walked into a door. I got very tired of people asking me how I
got it and it's very embarrassing to tell someone that you have a scar on your lip because
you walked into a door. The ring hides it from view, so if I could

It would
be a toss-up between my grandfathers pocket watch, a ring my nana gave me or a locket my
husband bought me. I think the ring would win - due to the fact that I cannot get it off
my finger!
Nikki, 27

a silver chain given to me by my soulmate,
