Which section of the newspaper do you turn to first?

Fliers. I love the fliers. Tucked in the middle, filled with lovely goodness. You can tell a lot about teh state of current events by what's on sale.

Jaden, 21

First Living, just for fun, and then NorthWest, which gives me regional news, editorials and op-ed opinions. The Oregonian is not a bad paper, but I get real national and international news better presented on-line by the NY Times, the London Telegraph and even MSN.

Wish I had time to READ the paper!

Tracy, 24

I usually start from the beginning and work my way through the entire paper, excluding the Sports, Auto, and Classifieds (unless I need something from them).

I don't get the newspaper. But my mom sends me the TV Guide and sometimes the comics.

I read two daily newspapers, starting with Section A (National and International News), then Section B (Local). I skip sports, read the features and solve the cryptograms.

I admit it...the funnies.

Adrianne, 15

I normally don't read the paper, but if I do,the first (and only) section I scan is the sports. Basically, I get my news from the computer, so I don't have to deal with the biases of different papers. I don't need nobody telling me how to thing.

I dont read the newspaper much these days. I usually skim the headlines, thats about it. I always read the local paper with great gusto tho. I like reading all the hometown gossip and news :)

Talia, 23

I'm actually very rigid in some ways. I have to read the front section first, then nation and world, then entertainment, then sports, and finally  saving the best for last, the comics. I can not ans will not read out of order, i'm kinda odd that way i suppose.

I usually go through the sales papers first, then the front page, browse through section A, then B, I always skip the sports section, go to section D which is Living, and then I read the comics last. And sometimes if I'm bored, I'll read the USA Weekender.

Lisa J., 22

I usually turn to the local stories and then the obituaries. I don't know why I go there but I do and have since I was around 40. I live in a small community and everyone knows everyone.
