Who is in your
family?Family can mean many things to many people. Family to me means the
people who I love and care for. My Dad, Mom, sister and brother my Aunt Margaret, My
Husband and my mother and father in-law and my stepson. It sure would be cool to go back
100, 500 or even a 1000 years to see who my family was. Maybe some day when I have the
time I will start a family tree. My family is the most important thng in my life. Everyone
needs some kind of family even if they are not biological family.
Colleen, 29

In my immediate family there is me, the
soccer Mom, graphic artist and my husband, Bob, 46, great guy and a union carpenter. I
have two sons, Bobby, 13 a budding guitarist (watch out Jimi) and David, 11, the travel
soccer and all around sports nut. I am also blessed with two brothers and two sisters, and
a wonderful and most gracious Mother-in-law.

There are
my parents (Patricia, 69 and Harold 74), my sister (Colleen, 29), her husband (Michael,
30) and his son (Zachery, 8), my brother (Kevin, 32), his wife (Pamela, 36) and her two
kids (Ashley, 13 and Cody, 15). I am also lucky to have a third parent in the form of my
maternal aunt (Margaret, 71). Of couse these bare stats can't even start to get at the
dynamic interactions that make us up. That would take pages.

My husband and I have an empty nest. I have
two sons, one living and one dead. There are six stepsons. I have a brother and sister
living at a distance and a passel of first and second cousins with whom I correspond.
To steal Mark Twain's line, I have ancestors
going back to Adam and Eve--or perhaps Adam and Lilith.

Well there is my Mother, Father,
Stepfather, a brother from the same father, two older
brothers from a different father, and a younger sister from a different father. All
siblings are from the same mom though. Then there is my partner, many friends and our cats
tumbleweed and Mithgar, our dog Morgan, and our rabbit Wednesday.

I do not really have a family. . .no

I've
recently begun taking a more liberal view towards family. The government approved family
for me is my parents (still together), my 3 brothers and their 2 wives and 3 children and
my wife. I also include Michelle and Peter, two of my best friends, and the Las Cruces, NM
based Montes clan - friends of the family since forever. And Zach! (the dog)

In my
immediate family, there's my mom (Marcie, 45), and my younger sister (Lori, 12). My dad
(Jeff) died in 1995. In my extended family, there's my maternal grandparents (all 4 of
them), my aunts and uncles (6 total) and my cousins (6 total). There's also all my friends
you've been really supportive throughout the years. I'd name them all, but I don't wanna
turn this into one of those award acceptance speeches that goes on forever:P

This is a
rather strange question. I've got a mother and a father, same as everybody else. Two
sisters and a brother, two cats, and a roommate/best friend.
