What risks do you take?

Any risks I take I do so with a lot of planning and analytical thought. Physical risks are perhaps low on the list with financial risks being high.

Felicia, 38
Lowell, MA USA

I don't take any physical risks. I take financial risks by investing in stocks and mutual funds that are a little more volatile than people my age generally like.

Cathie, 54
Novi, MI USA

Lately, not too many. I took a huge risk when I married my husband. Sixteen years later, I can say it was a good risk.

Laura, 39
Lowell, MA USA

I take risks only when I can't avoid them.

Jill, 61
Saylorsburg, PA USA

Little. I like things predictable.

Janet, 46
E. Brunswick, NJ USA

The biggest risk I take -- and I've taken it for years -- is in believing that I am good enough at what I do to earn a satisfactory living doing independent consulting and contract work instead of seeking the security of permanent employment. I am past the point where I feel any necessity to take physical risks.

Jane, 63
West Linn, OR USA

I drive. I go whitewater rafting. Once in a while I fly.

Karen, 23
Ames, IA USA

Too many stupid physical risks! I have the bruises and scars to prove it.
