Have you found any particularly interesting web sites lately?

www.BookCrossing.com It's a site where one registers one's own books, can look at the "bookshelves" of other members and request, trade or just plain give away books you no longer want. So far, I've sent a few of my unwanted (but good) books to different members and have received a few that I've been wanting to read.

There's a website called "OneWord" that I like. They give you a word then you have 60 seconds to write your feelings about said word. www.oneword.invisibleland.tv/

Not any that are new to me. At least, not that I can think of.

I'm pretty boring. I go to the same few web sites all the time. Or I do research for work or school.

a few http://www.matazone.com is one my friend does - it has fantastic animations on (not suitable for kiddies though) right now I'm looking at http://www.quals-for-business.com/ ... it's written by
my qualitative methods lecture, so not really as exciting!

Heartlandreviews.com for book reviews and Writing.com, a writer's site.

One that I kinda like as a means to unwind after work is as follows: http://oneword.invisibleland.tv/index.html ... you hit the "go" button and it hands you a simple word. You start typing the first thing that comes to your mind about this word. You have 60 seconds till your time is up. No contest, no skills needed. Just kinda neat to see where everyone else goes
with the word.

www.ownersite.com lets you track everything about your car so you can see your mileage, get reminders about doing maintenance, and track your expenses for tax purposes.

I found some news articles online which were really interesting. Can't remember the addresses, though, and they aren't in my History folder. It's a shame, I'd like to read those again.

It's nothing new, but I enjoy reading some of the things on The Smoking Gun. No secrets there.

Yeah, a really cool, new technology called Natural Language Navigation can be seen and downloaded on www.igetnet.com. It's a completely free download that takes only a second to put on your computer. It upgrades your Internet Explorer's address bar, so that when you type in a search phrase (like "chocolate" or "birthday cards") on YOUR ADDRESS BAR, it takes you directly to ONE website that has what you're looking for! No more browsing through long lists of search engine results. If, for some reason, you don't like what you find, then try a search engine and see how long it takes you with those results! I use IGN Keywords (that's what they're called) all the time on my computer at home and at work and I love
