How
many times have you been bitten by the love bug? The "love bug" actually
got me to a certain degree 3 times now. The first time I was very young (19) and so was
she (17). It didn't work out for various reasons, but at the time, it was love. The second
time I was with the girl for about 2 years. We never really got a long very well, but we
felt that we had to make it work because we'd done it for so long. Finally, the
"love bug" took a nice big chomp out of me and I'm getting married for the first
time next month.

Yikes. Probably nipped about 6 times
suffering mild symptoms. Finally got the full bite about two and a half years ago
and boy oh boy, I've got it bad! (it's about damn time)

Once, twice, thrice--and, of course, a
number of teen age crushes.

I've had countless crushes, which are always
fun. I've been seriously in love with four different men. My husband has been the most
satisfying and wonderful of those four.

seriously bitten...i'd say three
times. and i married the first biter!

Excluding adolescent crushes, four or five.

Ewww. Okay if I got crabs from being on this
list, I swear heads are gonna roll. If you mean it to mean crushes, then I pretty
regularly get one big one every year. There are some, that never quite go away
(Matt...Neil...Joe...Patrick...). In a related note, my Victorian Literature professer
keeps talking about "the love bite" I'm not sure exactly what he means, but he
sure gets a perverse pleasure out of talking about it. Creepy!

Well, I didn't know that there was a special
kind of love until I met my fiance Kevin. He is so wonderful and I've never felt this way
about another man in my life.

once. and it killed me.

I have been bitten by mosquitoes, bees,
cats, dogs, and assorted other creatures...but hey, as long as it does not have the Ebola
virus, I guess I would not object to being bitten by that particular bug...

Too many times. And it's true that
breaking up is hard to do.

Far too many to count. Next time I see that
little bugger, I'm going to squish him.

I think just twice. And the second time is
now and it's bitten harder than ever...not to be too mushy or anything.
Triana, 29

I thought I had been quite a few times, but
looking back, I'd have to say once in high school and twice in college. Fortunately the
last time took.
Judy, 62

twice,
i think. maybe once. i'm not quite sure
Patty, 19

Too many for my own good. But, hey, at least
I loved. It's better than hating right? Besides I still love everyone I've ever loved. I
never stopped. And I don't regret any of them.
Lisa J., 23

I have never been bitten by
"the love bug." I hope falling in love has little to do with an insect.
Johanna, 18

5 or 6 too many. that's for damn sure.
A-Dog, 19

It trully
depends how you look at that question. How many times I have mistaken it, or how many
times technically? Mistaken for l would have to say 5 actually i would say 2 now that i
look back on the situation. One of which weighs heavy on my mind and I fear i will never
love so strongly or passionately ever agian
Nicole2, 20

A couple
times, but that little bug bites hard. Takes a while to heal that wound.
Ryan, 28

Cant'
remember. But the last time it bit hard. It's been 20 years.
Janet, 44
E. Brunswick, NJ USA
Oh, jeesh. I guess I was in love with Mike,
and (bleh) Rory, and Aaron, and maybe my buddy Sol (although I think that was just
attraction + friendship). And, last but the complete opposite of least, my husband Bill.
So three or four times, plus a billion little crushes that didn't count for much.
