If
you had the skill, what Olympic event (summer or winter) would you like to compete in? I'd hafta say figure
skating. It looks fun and there is alot of dancing involved and I like that.

Figure skating, definitely. When I was young

I'd like to be able to participate in the
gymnastics (artistic and rhythmic) competitions, and the synchronized swimming. I'd like
to be able to do the kayaking races, too.

Although I most enjoy watching the
spectacular diving, skating, and ski jumping events, I'd like to have the diverse skills
needed to compete in the heptathalon.
Jane, 62

Definitely the Freestyle ski jumping- I
would have to get over my fear of heights first though.

I think I'd like to immerse myself
in the rules and technicalities and be one of the
aesthetic skating judges.

Great question. Since my daughter is
studying figure skating and I can't even stand up on the things, I'd have to say figure
skating, but I'd like to be involved in the pairs. I love the way two people can be so
in-tune with one another and so trusting of one another on the ice. Done well, it looks so
elegant. Curling looks cool too ... I love shuffleboard and from what I've seen of that
sport, it looks kinda similar.

Hmmm. Probably the shooting sports. I would
love to know that I'm such a good shot, I'm Olympic material. =) Really, though, I would
loooooove to sing the National Anthem. For me, *that* would be way cool.

If you had the skill, what Olympic event
(summer or winter) would you like to compete in? Ever since I was a little kid I was a
huge baseball fan and a pretty good player. I briefly played college ball, but didn't go
any further than that. So, my "event" of choice would be Baseball in the Summer
Olympics.

I would have liked to

When I was little I wanted to be a
tightrope walker, but that's not really an Olympic
event. Oh, archery is, and I took that as a class. So yeah, probably archery, but figure
skating and swimming and fencing (is there Olympic fencing?) and gymnastics would all be
cool too.
Karen, 22
