Had to pay $10,000 because of it. Then two years later I made another one and was audited. I figured the IRS was probably specifically watching for my return to catch me in another mistake so I've had my taxes done by H&R Block ever since. But it is getting quite expensive so this year my husband and I are going to do them ourselves and have an accountant friend check them over. Reba, 51
