What was the worst present you received this year?

Anger and frustration from my mom.

Someone can give a pretty ugly Santa candle.

We got doubles of some things, so that wasn't great. I think the worst thing that I just got one of,
though, was a used-looking bottle of lotion soap. . .complete with an ingredient that my husband is allergic to.

I'm finally getting mature enough to recognize, "It's the thought that counts."

The worst present I received this year is a pair of slippers. They are just a little bit too small, they are very plain, and they aren't my favorite color. That really isn't much too complain about, so I did pretty well this Christmas.

At the office gift swap I ended up with a tin of mulling spices.

I didn't really receive any bad ones. They thoiught about it and got some good presents.

I didn't get any really bad ones... I got a book which, reading the back, I would never have bought myself, but that's not a bad thing necessarily - I'll still give it a shot, and see how we get on with one another :)... Other than that the worst thing I got was a pair of really naff socks... but I'm wearing them right now, so they can't be that bad!

The best official 'present' I received is a flight ticket to see my CA relatives (SF) in May. That should totally reek of awesomeness. The best thing, although it can not be considered a present, is a discussion I had with my sister n' law. She is the director of HR at her place of business. She is helping my get my sick, twisted, screwed up life together. She is helping me decide where I want my career, or lack thereof, to go next. Like, since I think I want to get into IT, of course anything is better than filing, she helped me figure out what to do to get an IT position. We are working together to get that accomplished. That is why this holiday week may turn out to be a
turning point in my twisted life. Of course, time will determine the accuracy of that statement.

I don't think I receive a worst gift.
