Does
your family have any Christmas traditions, or practices that others would
find odd? If
they do they're not letting me in on it.

My family
doesn't but my husband's family has a Christmas skull. Actually, we now
have the Christmas skull. It's a ceramic skull (human) and the crown of
the skull lifts off. Apparently his mother used to put Christmas candy
in it. I can't offer a reason why they did this. But we now have the Christmas
skull. It's out all year on our coffee table.

I'm sure there's
something in the "other practices" category, but I can't really
think of anything at the moment.

As we open
presents, someone will say "Oh, just the right size! And my favorite
color!" for something that doesn't come in sizes and colors, like
a book or DVD.
