West Linn, OR USA At times falling snow makes me feel as though I am drawing in the purest of air. It is as though the flakes have wiped clean all of the smells and added a chill into the bargain,. Gahanna, OH USA Snow doesn't have a smell to me, it has a tranquil and peaceful feeling while it is falling down from the sky. A certain stillness. Rain has a neat smell. It starts off smelling like ozone and then it certain freshness to it as it cleanses the streets and continues to fall. McMinnville, OR USA I think snow smells like ice. The kind of ice they make slushies and snow cones with. Just a cold, icy smell. Every now and then it'll have a chemical smell to it. But just like rain, you can smell it in the air. You'll be outside and there will be a scent in the air and someone will say "Smells like snow!" And just like rain, it has it's own smell.
