I don't know if the world actually will come to an end, but I think that the human race will die out. Not in our lifetime, but sometime.

I think humans will just keep breeding and destroying the earth until people start starving and dying. Then of course by this stage we'll probably have migrated to some other planet and will be in the process of destroying that as well.

Well, I've got 2 ways of looking at it. One, it could happen like Revelations in the Bible, or , it could happen like the Mayans and the Buddhists and some of those people say it will. You know, we get smarter and smarter and more evolved and in 2012(?) the world enters a new existence, yadda yadda, and the world starts over, something like that. But, hopefully, however it happens, if it happens, it won't be too bad. Maybe it'll be a beautiful experience, who knows. Maybe it'll really suck and we all die of some big explosion, or we all finally kill each other. no one knows for sure exactly how it'll happen. People have their opinions, and dreams, and maybe one of us will be right. Maybe all of us will be right.

Do you mean the end of the planet earth, or the end of the entire ecosystem on earth too? I'm sure earth will eventually come to an end, but not for a long time. I read in some magazine that the sun will eventually blow up when it runs out of the gas that fuels it, and will probably engulf Earth. I think we will be away from Earth when that happens, since its supposed to be in 6000 years or something, but I really don't know if something else might happen that will have effect on the human race. I don't really have much to do with religion, but I believe that maybe something weird or unexpected might happen, hopefully for the better.

If end of the world means the whole thing, no just human life. I suppose we will continue to eat away our ozone to the point where human and most animal life can no longer survive. Or we will unleash some nasty biological weapon or contract some disease that will end all human life and let the rest of world continue on.

I see the end of the world happening in the following way:   With overpopulation gone wild: a second ice-age will come  (hopefully) which will freeze all people, killing them, hopefully the animals will be spared...and the animals will be sent to another planet, where they will be the rulers (the way things should be)...

We are going to continue overpopulating the earth, destroying our resources, and paving over our land until there isn't enough food water and space to go around. Then some nasty disease will come along and wipe out the rest of the stragglers. That is if we don't all nuke each other off of the face of the earth. What a happy question!

Good question...in the past, I've always bought into the theory that either a meteor or something would cause this great explosion, and poof! end of the world. Now I'm leaning more toward thoughts of a gentle, slow-rolling exit...one that gives folks lots of time to sit and ponder the meaning of life etc... maybe I hung around too many weird people in my youth. I do feel that if folks don't better protect the environment, there will be some sort of hell to pay for it in a couple of hundred years from now. But I've abandoned thoughts of the earth becoming this great big firecrackerone day. I just have a feeling it will die away like many people do -- slowly, with time, till there's just nothing left to maintain any life forms anymore. Good question - makes ya think.
