Do
you play the lottery?Maybe once in two years.
Jane, 60

sometimes
Melodi, 19
Hlliard, OH
USA
The only time I play the lottery is
when I'm with friends from Ohio. They insist that I buy
scratch off tickets and if we win, we have to buy more.In general I view lottery tickets
as a voluntary tax and I just don't see the point. However, with my Ohio friends, it
becomes cheap entertainment because we laugh until our sides ache while we observe the
ritual lottery
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
USA
My stepdad does, but I don't really see the
point... I mean, you keep telling yourself "Maybe next time" but what are the
chances of that everhappening? One in a billion?
Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch, CO USA
yeah I do. But only computer picked
"random" numbers because I think it ups the odds. Every winner I've ever heard
of, won off of a quick pick.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
occasionally, but mostly because i have a
friend who sells them and he'll buy them for me!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
Not really. One of my aunts always
gives me scratch tickets for Christmas though.
Felicia, 34
Lowell, MA
USA
I use to when it was "in" to play
but after no earnings in a year of playing and way too much $ down the drain, I decided
it;s easier to play the market.
Stephanie, 25
TX USA
No.
Karen, 21
Marshelltown/Ames, IA USA
Very rarely. I'll buy a scratch ticket maybe
a couple times a year and I'll play Powerball or The Big Game when the jackpot is at least
half the size of the odds ($40,000,000+).
Alias Irrelevante
No. I try to avoid situations where the odds
are a million to one against me.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA USA
No.
Reba, 51
Rockville, MD
USA
I might if I was old enough.
Dianne, 16
Oshawa, Ontario CANADA
Only when the jackpot is so ridiculously
large it verges on the nonsensical.
Kim, 30

USA
Do I play the lottery? Oh, I've bought a
ticket or two in my lifetime. I've played some of the lottery games on the net. Like,
Lucky-something, I can't remember the name, now. But, boy, I tell you what, if I did play
the lottery and I won, I would be one happy-go-lucky girl. Well, that's another question,
right? So, does someone read all of these entries or is it just stored somewhere on some
disk with "Entries" written on it? Well, it's ok either way. There's something
about someone wanting my answer or opinion on something that perks me right up.
Lisa J., 22
TN USA
No, but I wish I could!
Sarah S., 17
Ithaca, NY
USA
No, I've only ever bought one lottery
ticket. I had just turned 18 and because I don't smoke I wanted to do something I had
recently come of age to do. I bought a $1 scratch-off ticket from a machine - and didn't
win anything.
etoile, 19

YES I PLAY THE LOTTERY ALTHOUGH LATELY I
HAVE BEEN TOO BUSY TO THINK ABOUT IT. WHEN I FEEL LUCKY I PLAY. I PLAY THE PENNSYLVANIA
AND OHIO. I HAVE NEVER WON ANYTHING MORE THAN $50 AND WHEN I DO WIN I DON'T PLAY IT ALL
BACK. I TRY TO COME OUT AHEAD ALITTLE.
Marci, 55
Diamond, OH
USA
Once in a blue moon.
Fisch, 45
Preston, CT
USA
Nope. I buy one of those scratch
tickets every once in a while, but that's it.
Maggie, 20
Sandwich, IL
USA
I have purchased tickets about 5 times.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA
USA
No, it confuses me and I'm too cheap to
waste a dollar on something like that. By the way I should let everyone know that my
pregnancy has taken a turn for the worse. I almost lost him last Friday due to early
dilation and contractions. I'm writing from the hospital and will be on complete bedrest
until I give birth. My due date is March 29. He will probably come much sooner, but the
trick is to keep him in there as long as possible so that he will be as big and healthy as
long as possible so that he will be as
big and healthy as possible.
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL
USA
Yeah, but only when Powerball exceeds $100
million. I wouldn't mind some money for $1. I'm not a big gambler though.
Amy, 23
New Orleans, LA USA
I use to play them all the time. My
father and I even one $1500 one time. I now believe
they are a total waste of money. I should just take a dollar bill and throw it out
the car window, and have just as much result from that dollar. I will very, occasionally
still buy a ticket.
Kevin, 33
Sugar Hill, GA USA
OMG! I play online free lotto like a maniac!
I probably average 200 entries a week!
Charlie, 21
PA
Once in a
while. When the jack pot is really large, I'll get swept up in Jack pot Fever and buy some
tickets and a dream.
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ USA
I would
if i was old enough!
Savannah
Nah, not my bag. After all, I don't wanna
hand out.
Bruno, 31

no no no. . . .although one day I suspect
I'll break down and I'll kick myself the rest of the millenium. . .
