I would love to go to the ocean along the Carolina's or better yet Florida on the Gulf side. I would get up early every morning and look out the window over the ocean and watch the dolphins jump out of the water and I would watch the waves come in and then I would go down and walk the beach barefooted for hours and listen to the ocean and think how wonderful it is that God has made something so beautiful and calming. I never feel better than when I was at the ocean. I have never felt better than when I was at the ocean. I was not able to go the past couple of years as badly as Iwanted to. But hopefully this coming year I will get to.

Right at this moment, I'd love to be pampered and cosseted at a very expensive and exclusive resort in a warm and dry climate. Of course my fellow guests would be stimulating and delightful company; the well-prepared cuisine would be both familiar and exotic and an excellent library would be available. After days of exploring a fascinating landscape, I'd be able to relax by a wood fire. (And someone else would be carrying out the ashes and washing the dishes and dusting the books and paying the bills.)  Sweet, sweet fantasy.

I have several vacation fantasies...One is to go on a mission trip to the Central African Republic. I'll get there someday. I'd like to do this vacation with friends.  Another is to go to a Caribbean island, roast on the beach, swim in the ocean, check out the scantily clad young men, and drink fruity beverages with paper parasols. I'd like to do this vacation with my sisters. The third and most desired, is to take 3 months with my husband and dogs and travel in the western part of the US. I'd like to see the painted desert and the grand canyon. We'd travel at the pace we'd like, stop when we wanted and in general see the country.

I would like to go someplace where they had a "timemachine". And in this "timemachine" I would have it take me to 1982 when I was 4 years old. And I would play all day with my neighbors and my toys. And I would take advantage of being held all day by my Mom and Dad. I would see Muffy and Frisky, my two cats then, again. I would pick fights with my brother and sister again. I could have my great imagination back.I would climb trees, blow bubbles,eat happy meals and never think once of the future I would return to. That would definently be the perfect vacation for me.

Where I would like to go on vacation are either: Greece, Russia, or Australia. The reasons being: I have read the Iliad and The Odyssey, and am currently reading a history of Greek Civilization, and I'd be interested in seeing the stuff I've read about. I've also had a thing for Russia,  because of the cold war, and stuff like that. I'd like to go to Australia because of a green shirt I have. A green shirt inspired me to write a novel-like story,100+ pages, about Australia...insane, huh?

We were just talking about this the other evening. I wouldn't mind going to Salem, Massachusetts. I've never seen that area and it would be kinda neat to visit all the old witch burning sites - even tour some of the old homes where supposed spirits still dwell. No, not that I'm into the dark side much, but I am fascinated that many still are - and would consider it somewhat an education since I'm sort of ignorant about such things. Besides, it's supposed to be a really pretty place to take a nice long drive.
