Do you vote? If no, why not?
Yeah, I do.
Alias
Irrelevante
Yes, I do
vote.
Tam
No because
I'm not old enough.
Aly,

I'd vote if
the #@$^*&%^*&E&^ voter registration folks would send me a
^$**E^%^&$^*& voter registration card.

How about
"If so, why?" I suppose it's "patriotic" to vote.
Anyway, I voted in the last Presidential election, and I will probably
end up voting in this one, but things did not turn out the way I wanted
them to last time, so that was discouraging.
Karen,

Yes I do --
primaries, local elections and general elections.
Laura,

Lowell, MA USA
yes - I don't
think you have any right to complain about your government if you don't.
If there was
no-one I wanted to vote for I would spoil the paper, rather than not voting
at all (I *do* think that
having a "none of the above" option would be a good idea though)
Alice

Yes, I do,
even in the school board elections. It's my responsibility as an American
citizen.

For most elections
yes, sometimes I skip the low level elections for dog catcher and library
board.

no, I have
the whole, 1 vote doesn't matter thinkin' even though I know that most
people have that view so inturn all those do.
Stephanie,

no because
I don't have enough time to pay attention to the candidates and, I'm not
very interested in the political side of things
Melodi,

Of course
I do.
Keri-Jade,

Of course.
Jill,

Always. If
I don't vote, I don't feel I have the right to complain about anything
the government does. Oregon makes it easy. We vote by mail.
Jane,

Yes. It is
the first step to getting your voice heard. It however must be backed
up with lots of other actions. I don't by that notion that not voting
tells our polititian that we disagree. It just says we don't care. There
have been more than one election when I have written candidates names
and even jotted down "none of the above"
Felicia,

The day that
I turned 18 I registered to vote. I was excited. I have always voted and
always will. There have been times when I have had to hold my nose and
vote because of the choices, but I do believe it is my duty as a member
of a democratic (more or less) society, to vote and to participate.
Cindy,

Yes!
Every vote counts.
