If you were invisible, like the guy in Hollow Man, what would you do?

I would go and see what the gov't is really up to.

Stickman

Probably hang out in locker rooms and blow up bridges and stuff.

Nothing. I wouldn't like it. The thought "steal money from drug dealers" crossed my mind, but I don't think I would really want to do that either.

Without a shadow of a doult, I would go around watching people and give them a hand (especially when they are fustrated). People in general do not accept kindness - too easily. Although in their hearts they appreciate the help. It would be acts of kindness that would help people. That makes their day and in turn they make someone elses day.

I would probably freak people out a bit, but that's about it. I wouldn't really want to be invisible.

If I was invisible, I'd have a ball! I'd go to the nearest airport and when I saw a plane leaving for someplace interesting (Yellowstone, British Columbia, Washington state, Alaska) I'd get on it. When we arrived at our destination, I'd go to the nicest bed & breakfast in town and spend  the night. The next morning I'd hike around the place, looking at all the birds and wildlife, and I'd be able to get REALLY CLOSE because I'd be invisible.

If I were invisible I would check out things that I have been told about people and see if they were really true. I guess I would be a eavesdropper or like a mouse in a corner. I wonder about so much I hear about family and friends and can't believe most if it is true.

That's a tough one. I think I would take advantage of the situation assuming it was temporary. I would sneak up on people, hide things and mess with security systems similar to the actions of ghosts or spirits. I know that may seem bad but I believe everyone has a mean streak and mine would only come out if I was invisable.

Well the usual-go into the guy's locker room ;) and go somewhere where people would be talking about me so I can see what they really think

If I were invisible and also had the power to be anywhere, it might be interesting to eavesdrop on the meetings of the powerful. If, however, I simply could be invisible in my normal life, I don't think I'd bother.

I would go home with my students, one at a time, and see how they behave after school is over and what goes on at home. It would help me so much in the classroom to know exactly what goes on at home, but I guess I'll never know!!

I haven't seen The Hollow Man. . .and I don't know what I'd do. I hope I wouldn't do anything differently (except maybe announce when I was coming in a room so everyone would know). But I guess if there were some way to bring certain situations to the attention of the proper authorities without anyone knowing who did it, I'd probably do that.

I didn't see Hollow Man, so I don't know if there is anything special to his invisibility. I don't think I'd like to be invisible. I wouldn't want to snoop and find out things about myself or others that I might not want to know; especially if it pertained to loved ones.

I've never seen "The Hollow Man", but as a child I was enchanted with the idea of invisibility. Now that I'm grown I feel that a talent for invisibility would be very tempting to misuse by invading the rights of others. I'm also aware of how easy life can be on those low-profile occasions when I choose to be inconspicuous.

I'd like to think that I would do all sorts of cool and fun things like eavesdrop on heads of state, gain access to secure places, play jokes on my friends. But the reality is, I'd probably be doing exactly what I do normaly only I'd be invisible. I guess the only daring, illegal thing I'd do is see lots of movies for free.

Good question...I'd probably like to travel to far, exotic places without having to worry about paying for a plane ticket or getting a passport. To be able to enjoy the beauty of Europe and Asia without the hassle of other tourists and other(for lack of a better word) annoying people would be wonderful.

There's quite a few people I'd like to spy on. And I'd hitch a ride to the most tempting place on offer at the airport too.

<snicker> I'd invade the dorm of a girls boarding school, what do you expect? nah... hehe, though I might feel like sneaking somewhere where I could see invisible people, I'd probably use it to do things like finding out what other people talk about behind my back, or I'd try to find out who always steals my newspaper, or things like that.

oooohhh, I've actually thought about this a lot! I think that I would spend some time observing people's day to day lives. I find that just fascinating. I am curious about what my boss's home life is like - she seems like such a work-a-holic, and I wonder how that translates to her home life. I would also observe my kids at school and with their friends - not to find out if they're doing something wrong, but to have a better insight into their personalities. I think I would use my invisibility to stow away on planes, and visit areas of the world that are having serious problems, to see if I could get a better feel for what's really going on, and perhaps find ways to help solve the problems. I'd be able to observe Heads of State, and find out what the real story is without any spin, and without jeopardizing my safety.

I'd like to hang out at home and be a fly on the wall in my kid's rooms, see what work thinks about me. I do not any any desire to be invisible though.

How I interpret this question is, what would you do, if you could not get caught...well, I'd like to sneak into the CIA, White House, FBI, and see what really happens there. I'd go on trips to Alaska, Greece, Russia, and Australia, and since I was invisible, I would not pay...I get my revenge on a few people from my past...who treated me like the stuff you scrape off the bottom of your shoes....I wouldn't commit any crimes, maybe just embarras some people who take advantage of me...I imagine after the novelty wore off, I'd want to be visible...

I think it's pretty obvious: go to the guy's locker room.

Well, first of all, I've never seen Hollow Man, so I don't know if there's something special about him that sets him apart from other invisible people, or what. Anyway, there are a few people I would really like to "play" with if I was invisible. I'd also like to go to New York and steal purses back from purse snatchers, like Chevy Chase in "Memoirs of an Invisible Man". I would make a list of men I want to see naked, and go visit them in the shower. All in all, I'd rather be a ghost than a plain old invisible person. You can creep people out better that way, plus, my dad could help me.

Kristin, 20

uh. . .try to find out what the fuck happened, and do everything I could to become visible again. ..
