Have
you ever been surprised by an answer (or answers) to a question on this website?I've accepted the
diversity of the human race AND accepted that some individuals can be erratic or offensive
or superficial or incisive or very wise.

I'm often surprised, but rarely shocked by
answers. Most recently, I was surprised how many people considered their zip code
too personal to disclose given that many have given their city and state along with tons
of other personal info. The surprises and variety of responses are exactly what makes this
whole project interesting.

Honestly, I never read the answers, but of
those I have read, I can't say I've been surprised by any of them.

I was suprised once when someone agreed with
me.

I don't know about surprised, but I can
still remember reading someone's answer to the question about the worst moment in rock and
roll history and feeling stung when they wrote the worst moment was the Stones going out
on tour last year or something like that. They are my favorite band in the entire world
and that bothered me. Allright, I'm gonna shut up now...

A few times. You get a sense of what you
think people are like after awhile, then WHAM they throw in a monkey wrench. It's kinda
neat though.

If I weren't often surprised by the
answers, and occasionally by the questions, I probably wouldn't be a regular participant.
That's half the fun!

I am not qualified to answer this question.

I've been disgusted by some and disappointed
by some; I guess that counts as "surprised" because I'm surprised somebody could
think that way.

Sometimes, yes. Not so much surprised though
as intrigued or on occasion, confused.
Angela, 16

Yeah. I am always surprised when somebody
answers with a very socially conservative perspective. Even though I hear it all the time,
it still always suprises me. I forget how close-minded lots of people are.

ive paused and looked at a few, but
no answer has really ever offended or surprised me too much. i think i expect everything.

Up until a week ago, my answer to this
question would have been "no". But I submitted the question about 'telling your
best friend that his spouse was cheating' and I assumed that EVERYBODY'S answer would be
no, same as mine, and very few were. That surprised me.

Wasn't there a question like this before?
Well yeah possibly but no specific time that I can remember.

I was
mildly surprised that anyone wanted to give out their zip codes, but I suppose not
everyone lives in a town small enough to truly be stalked with the info given with
answers. (name, age, city/state). I suppose the main reason, though, is because it's such
an irrevelant question.
