What's the best
advice someone has ever given you?To give my heart and life to the Lord and he would give me
everything I need, maybe not everything I want but He would fill my needs. Also another
piece of advice given was to live my life to the fullest and be thankfull as you never
know what tomorrow will hold. I find both of these are very true.

To trust and rely on your family and close
friends....they will always be there for you!!

i always like meeting new people - why avoid
it? If don't meet that random person as you're moving through life, you'll never know if
you could've made them laugh..." - said to me while wandering through a Home Depot,
shopping with a friend named Chad.
It wasn't offered as advice, but I took it
as such, because it felt good and healthy to look at the people around me in such a way.
Chad would have a kind word or a witty comment to make towards anyone around him, as we
went through the store and others places. We were buying supplies to rebuild my deck, some
of which were lag bolts and galvanized nuts. As we were being rung up, he told the cashier
lady that we had nine galavanized nuts. Then, with a gleam in his eye, he said,
"Boy... Imagine that creature. I'd hate to run into a monster with nine galvanized
nuts...!" The cashier doubled up and couldn't speak for a while; you could tell she
was going to go home to a boyfriend/husband/family, and relate the day's best joke
to them.

Live your life without regrets. If you want
something, go after it. Don't waste a good life by looking back on the things
you should or shouldn't have done.

Trust your instincts.

I'm sure people have given me lots
of good advice before, but more often than not I don't
pay attention
Jeremy, 13

That if you don't want the stress created by
procrastinating, actually do the thing right off. There is less energy involved in getting
it done then worrying over it. Sounds like no duh? But it really worked for me. Oh
and yeah, put the dental floss in the shower and make a habit of flossing your teeth when
you take a shower. That little bit of advice really worked wonders.

I have no idea. It's 7:18 AM and the
only thing that comes to mind is that line in Alice in
Wonderland where Alice says, "I give myself very good advice but I very seldom follow
it." I've had Alice on the brain lately.

I've gotta say my colleague and friend, Bill
Shakespeare who told me "to thine own self be true." Thanks, Billy! Don't take
any wooden nickels, you wacky Brit! See you in the office.

(I really like this question. . .)
Probably something simple like Believe in
yourself at all times, and not to take anybody's opinion of you too seriously beyond what
you think of you. . .I also love George Burns' advice to actors. . .something like
"Sincerity is the true key to acting - and once you can fake that, you've got
everything. . ." I think there's a lot of wisdom there. .

"This too shall
pass."--but you have to be middle-aged to appreciate the wisdom.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
Simple: "When it comes to
money, never loan it, never lose it, but most importantly, never borrow it." Now, if
I could have taken heed many years ago, I'd be doing really well right now.
Fisch, 45

I don't think I've ever been given some
advice, and if I have I can't remember what it was.
Shanna, 15
Cardiff ENGLAND
I took an acting course one time and
the Prof. told me to stick to writing. I took it as a
general assessment of my abilities and where they should be focused.

Date the person
AT LEAST two years before you make any commitment to marriage, so sayeth my mother. She's
right though. Anyone I know who didn't wait the two years didn't last.

Worrying only makes things worse.

To follow my own advice.

Try for whatever it is you desire, and you
can make it happen. Kinda cheesy, I know, but it is something that means the world
to me.

My grandfather gave me the best advice of
anybody: Take your job seriously but don't take yourself seriously.

Thirteen years a ago a friend said to me,
"You really shouldn't marry Ken... Now, tell me about this man, Dan, that you work
with. He seems like a nice guy..." I ditched Ken 2 weeks later and married Dan 3
months later.
Laura, 35

Always listen with your heart AND
mind.

To look at a situation at the other person's
point of view and wonder how you would feel if you were in their dilemma.
