What are
appropriate activities for government to be involved in?That depends on
whether you think the government is a good thing or not. . .The law, I guess.

All activities are appropriate, because the
government is the basis by which are country & economy operate...except religion, of
course.

Defending the country from external forces
and road repair. They haven't proven themselves capable of much else.

I believe that while foreign affairs are important, America is more so. I wish
they'd pay more attention to the home front.

I think appropriate activites for the
government should include protecting people from harming one another with laws and police,
working with other governments so that different
countries understand each others' motivations, and crafting a world society where we
can do away with money entirely.

Regulating industry, protecting the
environment, protecting civil rights, defending our national borders... I don't know. This
is a hard question for late at night.

Carpet bombing little brown people
and telling me what to do while siphoning 35% of my money. Somewhere in there, I hope they
have time for racism, brutality, ignorance, and blow jobs. PS--Dear Santa, please give
them all AIDS.

Activities approprated by the people.

I don't think there are many areas
where it's inappropriate for the government to be involved in. They may mess up
occasionally but they were put there by the people, and I doubt their critics could do a
much better job than them.

I'm
pretty happy with the government's curren activities. ..I don't feel my daily life is
infringed upon in any way that particularly bothers me. . .
