If you were on the show Survivor, and were allowed only one luxury item what would it be?

I don't know much about that show, on purpose. I saw about 10 minutes of it once. So it's hard to know what would be a wise choice. But maybe it'd be good to have an endless supply of yummy food.

Sunscreen. If that isn't a luxury item, then a comfortable pillow.

A really long complicated novel that I could read several times over,  interpret new every time, and never grow tired of. Such as Joyce's Ulysses.

I would want to have my cell phone so that I could get help and keep in touch with my family. I hate to be with out contact to them at any time. I worry more if I am in a situation that I cannot contact them.

If I was only allowed on luxury item to bring, it would probably be The Oddysey, or the Iliad, since they are my favorite books.

I don't know if its a luxury item, but would definitely need to have my cigarettes.

I think I'd enjoy having a long Victorian piece of literature, like a Dickens novel I never read before. . . maybe the Pickwick Papers or Oliver Twist. . .

I have no intention of ever doing anything unscripted for the pleasure of strangers.

I would bring a CD player, if they were allowed.
