If you were given $1000 on the condition that you had to spend all of it in only one store, which store would you choose?

The first thing that came to mind was the Everything's A Dollar store where they just count the items in your cart since...everything is a dollar. But I don't think there are a thousand items that I would want.So... I would probably go to a book store or a music store. I also enjoy shopping at Target because a little bit of everything is there... Sorry, I seem to not be able to make a decisiont today.

I would go to Wal Mart and spend it fast.

Laney, 60

Probably a bookstore--on or off line.

Jill, 61

The store that sells replacement windows for my house.

Laura, 38

I'd probably use it at Target. Everyone in my house likes that store for bargains. If I were really clever, I'd buy a bunch of audio-visual stuff and resell it on Ebay to double my money. There's always someone out there who will pay double what anything is worth! Then I could go to a more
exclusive store and get myself some fancy duds.

Fisch, 47
Preston, CT USA

Wal Mart. It wouldn't take long.

Judy, 62
Easton, KS USA

L.L. Bean!

Tam

Heh, I'd spend it in a record store.

Do auto shops count as stores? I could use the money toward body work. That money would also be useful for groceries, if I didn't have to spend it all at once.

Karen, 23
Ames, IA USA

That's easy - Border's Books.

Reba, 57
Gaithersburg, MD USA

Well, it could either be a shoe store or a Bose music store. Now my son would run to Guitar World and get a telecaster.

Janet, 45
E. Brunswick, NJ USA

I'd choose Best Buy. I'd probably get a new washer and dryer, and then spend the rest on CDs and
software.

Cathie, 53
Novi, MI USA

I'd pick a department store, like Nordstrom's, which would give me the most flexibility in choosing what to buy.

Jane, 63
West Linn, OR USA

Lowe's home improvement store. Get the most and stuff to last for the money.

Christine, 37
Syracuse, NY USA

Believe it or not I can't even think of what to spend money on at the moment. I guess I'd pick a department store that sold many things for home and house.

Felicia, 37
Lowell, MA USA

I'd probably head to Best Buy.

Ryan, 29
Riedlingen GERMANY

Dixons - I'd buy a better TV or improved DVD player, something like that.

Aly, 17

Circuit City, Best Buy or CompUSA.
