If
somebody offered you a chance at the thing you wanted most in the world, but in exchange
you could never tell anybody about it, would you take it? I already have what I
want most in the world, and everybody knows it. And all the things I want that I don't
have are things that people would pretty much find out about whether I told them or not.

Sure, why not. At least I would have the
knowlege of it.
Ryan, 28

It would depend on what it was and whether I
could only enjoy it in the company of others. Since most of the things I want are not
tangible, it would be difficult to keep them a secret.

"If somebody offered you a chance at

it, would you take it?"
Y'know, this has actually happened!!! Of
course I can't tell you about it hehehe :-)

If not telling anyone is the
condition, so be it.

I disagree with the premise. I am that
somebody and I have no desire to place that restriction upon myself (gawd that sounded
cheesey).

If somebody offered you a chance at the
thing you wanted most in the world, but in exchange you could never tell anybody about it,
would you take it? This question makes me think too much! I guess the wording of this
makes it tough... it says "... offered you a CHANCE at the thing ...". For a
CHANCE, no, I wouldn't take it. If it was GUARANTEED, then I would be more inclined to
accept the deal.

Yes, because if I got a chance at the thing
I wanted most, everyone would know since I'd be a famous singer!

I found this question on some
computer test...so they get the cred. for it...Yes...It
is more important to be happy, than to get credit for achieving one's dreams...of coure,
this is really a hypothetical question...but whatever...nevertheless, my answer to this
question is yes, it is my bag...

Perhaps I'm quibbling, but if I were given
"the thing I want most in this world" my life patterns would certainly change
whether or not I talked about "it".
Jill, 61

Most definitely.

The thing I want most in the world
is good health, and if I could have it, I wouldn't care
in the LEAST if I could never tell anyone about it.
Reba, 50+

In a heartbeat. I learned many years ago the
blessings of keeping one's mouth shut.

I don't know what I want most in the world,
if it would be something i could bear keeping secret or not.
Talia, 24

Probably not. But that's mainly because
there's not anything that I want that I wouldn't earn.
Johanna, 18

What if my dream was to have everybody know
something? I certainly don't care what other people think. I'd like to have things that
are important to me and wouldn't care if people knew about it or not, as long as I had it.
Eric, 20

Yes, I
would.
