Do
you have any enemies? I suppose so. I mean, they say there's no love without hate
and thus, that means there's no friends without enemies. And let me tell you, I have some
terrific friends.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
Yes :( :( :( Although I dont think of them
as enemies, they are just people who hate my guts, and good reason, and I feel crappy
thinking about them, and If i ever ran into them again i'd run off crying. I don't hate
them, they hate me, and I hate myself for the reasons they hate me.
Talia, 23
Wilton, CT
USA
I'm probably my own worst enemy.
Jill, 60
Saylorsburg, PA USA
Everybody does, and, as proud as I am to be
a freak, I am still relatively normal in that sense. Certainly, I have more enemies than
friends...
Mick, 30
Chicago, IL
USA
If I do, and I'm sure I do, I don't
know who they are.
Reba, 51
Rockville, MD
USA
Not since the days in the sorority!!
Susan, 32
Chicago, IL
USA
There are people out there that I am sure
are not too fond of me, and there are cer tainly people out there that I am not too fond
of, but to call them enemies is a bit dramatic. That word makes it sounds like I am going
to battle them to the death next time I see them, hehe.
Maggie, 20
Sandwich, IL
USA
Well, there are people I disagree with very
strongly, but I wouldn't call them enemies. They are more like "confused
adversaries." I can't blame them for being misinformed.
Eric, 18
Beverly Hills, CA USA
Only person that I can think of is my
fiance's ex-wife. She really hates me. Other than that, no one.
Cathy, 26
Mandan, ND
USA
yes 2. both males. 1 is my
biological father (a.k.a. sperm donor) and 2 is my sister's ex fiance
Anjel, 19
None that have come forward.
Alias Irrelevante
*heh* Just one that I can think of.
Karen, 21
Marshelltown/Ames, IA USA
No, not really. I dislike some
people, but I don't consider them enemies.
Kevin M.
I don't think so. My ex-husband was for a
while, but he died some years ago.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
USA
None that
I know of. There are people who dislike me, but I wouldn't classify them as enemies.
Laura, 36
Lowell, MA
USA
I hope not, but I think there's one parent
of a student that would lop my head off given a chance and the proper tools!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
nah, life is too short for enemies and
grudges.. if i can't stand someone, i cut him/her out of my life and move on, or else i
have minimal contact and keep it civil
Katie2, 18
Detroit, MI
USA
Absolutely. This used to bother me when I
was younger. Not so anymore. To each his own I guess. I will say that I have far fewer now
than I did when I was younger. It's easier to avoid those we don't get along with now. I
think it's healthy to live through making an enemy...and it's the best way to realize true
friendship when it comes along.

I don't know. . . . .I know I used
to know people who really found my irritating, and even
evil. . .I don't know if I could honestly call them "enemies". . . The idea
seems fascinating to me though. . ..When I play a serious game of chess, the other player
is, in a sense, within the context of that game, my "enemy". . .If I was to be
part of an American armed forces unit that was fighting Iraq or Serbia, then those people
I'd be killing would be my "enemy", although I usually try to understand and
embrace as many cultures as I can to increase my awareness and world view, rather than
dismiss it as backwards and proceed to destroy its people. . . One of the two central
recreational passions in my life is the sport of hockey, and I love the sheer brutality of
it, without apologies, mostly because, once the game is over almost all of these players
honestly admire and embrace the skills and tenancity of the "enemy" that they
were just pummelling the shit out of an hour before. . .They can sit next to them at a bar
and have a hearty respectful loving male-bonding time. . .Hockey players are generally
among the coolest people you'll ever meet. . .so, again, I don't know. . . I hope not. .
.I'm not trying to make any enemies, and hating people usually is a profound waste of
energy and time. . .Can you have intense friendships or love affairs if you can't feel the
hate that having a real enemy implies to me?. . Once again, I just don't know. . .
mothmc, 36

I wouldn't say enemies, but there are a
probably about a dozen folks who don't really speak to me and more and I'm sure it is
probably because I've blown them off or made it clear I was dissappointed in them.
Felicia, 35
Lowell, MA
USA
Bruno is really paranoid about
having all those enemies, if you ask me...most people
are completely indifferent to you....
Mick, 30
Chicago, IL
USA
probably, but I can't think of any off the
top of my head. (knowing the people around here, they probably are my enemies and just
don't tell me to my face)
Angela, 16
