What are your
thoughts on the "new economy"?Things changing shifting. Low unemployment. We're in a boom.
Right? Yet it seem people are working harder and longer. You hear about all the
folks becoming millionaires, billionaires, gazillionaires, and still folks are living in
shelters. All the new technology, all the ways to communicate, and still I feel like
we are moving so fast that we just swoosh by each other on the way to the next
thing. A bit of good and bad I guess. Just like all times. Like Dickens said "It was
the best of times, it was the worst of times."

The "new economy" like the
"new music" seems to be thriving without my
understanding or active participation--unless paying bills on time is active
participation.

Prices are too high for gas and
necessities. Tolls now accept whole dollar coins! The
world is getting smaller, expensive and more accurate.I anticipate paper money
disapperaing sooner than expected and with E-sales increasing - banks and post offices
will dissapear and be replaced with personal coded printers and net accounts. I
foresee a simpler more expensive new economy

I'm sure glad I'm benefiting from the
current economy. Unfortunately, many people are left out of these benefits which also
disturb me. For instance, a person who lives in Massachusetts and earns the minimum wage
has to work 119 hours per week in order to afford a fair market rate 2-bedroom
apartment.

I think
we should go back to bartering, I'm just a lot more comfortable with a big wheel of cheese
than I am with virtual money.

We have to live with it - and, as
I'm a developer, it also brings me in a good living.

I don't think there is such a thing, it's
all just a re-hash of everything that when before it. (much like everything)

I don't care, as long as my tax money
continues to go towards nuclear weapons and housing weed-smokers in prison. You know,
worthwhile things. Keep my money away from that faggoty education.
PS-consider this MY VOTE for increased
salaries for everyone in Congress
