Where
might you live in 20 years and why?All my life I have lived in cities. First Los Angeles, then San
Jose, and now Lowell. In hopefully less than 20 years I want to be living in a more
rural setting. Somewhere in the north east or the north west would be OK. I'm
currently looking at western MA, because they have some fairly progressive towns out
there, like North Hampton and Amherst. I like Vermont too, because their politics seem to be fairly progressive.

In 20 years I will probably be
married and living in my own house or apartment in Canada somewhere. Why? Where else would
I live?

I may be living in Seattle in 20 years. I
love it there, and so does my fiancee. However, my entire family is here in California,
and I can't bear the thought of being without them and not seeing them as much as I do
now.
So as much as I would like to live in
Seattle, I am hoping that I will still
Nicole
Elk Grove, CA
Probably in an urban area -- Boston, NYC,
Philadelphia. Mostly because my husband doesn't drive so he prefers to live where he can
get to most places by foot.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
Colorado, 'cuz I love it.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
I'll be in London. It's my favorite
city in the world!
Lindsay, 21
Harrisonburg, VA
In 20 years I'll be almost 50. In 5
years I'll be somewhere between Boston and New York.
The 20 year question depends on how that goes.
Alias Irrelevante
Somewhere better, but still in Dallas. Because I want a more technical job that pays more and Dallas is a good place to find one. Don't want
to live in Cali.

Dallas, TX
I am 59. My father died at the age of 75 and
my mother died at the age of 83.
I have already had two bouts of
cancer--both successfully treated--but the odds are that I won't make old bones. I may be
buried in a very pleasant semi-neglected small graveyard in the Poconos--or in a rather
impersonal, well-kept cemetery in Western Pennsylvania. I'd prefer to be donated for
medical research and cremated. I would please me very much if my ashes were added to a
compost heap for use either in a
vegetable garden or a flower bed.

In 20 years I hope to be living the
same place I am...the shore, but with a big house and
children!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
In a sensibly designed, one-story home or
apartment, because I will be eighty and might not be able to handle stairs. Near my
family, to make life easier for everyone.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
In 20 years I'd like to live near the
equator, wherever it's warm. Massachusetts will always be home though. If I am
successful I would like to live on an island, otherwise New Orleans, Hawaii, Florida or
California sound great. I guarantee I will not be living in Nevada, Michigan, Alaska or
Antarctica.
Jami, 27
Lowell, MA
The future. Why? No choice.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
Most likely somewhere in the
Northeastern United States. Prefereably in a semi-rural place with some sort of cultural
access (I.e. a college town) and close enough to mountain lakes and woods to feed my soul.
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
I want to be
back in New Orleans or in England.
Amy, 23
Baton Rouge, LA
Hopefully in our dream fully wired
home, in our nation's capital!!
Helena, 31
Sydney AUSTRALIA
Maybe I'll still be in the house I live in
now (I only moved in 4 months ago) as long as I'm happy I don't really care where I am.
Nikki, 27
Kirkham ENGLAND
Hopefully
in Cape May. Enjoying the sunset.
