remedy for a sore throat? My mother used to tell me to gargle with salt and water. It
didn't work, but at least it made me feal stupid.

i usually just relieve '"the
symptoms" without actually "curing" it. . .I douse my throat with
Cloraseptic spray(or a generic equivalent), and this numbs the soreness(at least for
awhile. . .) Usually when I get a sore throat it is a
sign that I might be "coming down" with a more serious, life-impeding illness,
like the flu, so I try to get a little more sleep and drink more O.J., to hopefully avert
any further infringements or distractions to my time. . . .

I usually drink green tea with honey
and lemon, but I usually go to the doctor. Sore throat = strep throat in my life... I get
strep at least twice a year. Better to catch it early and get it over with.

My remedy for a sore throat is to go
to some medical-type person and let 'em write you a prescription.

Unluckily, when I have a sore throat it
usually means a doctor visit and antibiotics. But when it's just my allergies or a result
from talking too much, a good home remedy always works...gargle with warm salt water. I
know it sounds horrible and it doesn't taste good, but it DOES work!! I've also come to
find that if you use Listerine as your mouth wash, it works too if you gargle some for a
sore thoat. :0)
